I just got one from Amazon. A couple of things. 1. The aluminum "vibrators" are quite flimsy and were damaged in shipping to where I had to reshape them with a pair of pliers. 2. It appears, from the directions from Hell, that this electronics box is not an amplifier. It is the power and controller for the rotor. Before we had cable, we had HUGE antennas that went on HUGE poles. There was a rotor connecting the top pole to the bottom. Heavy and unwieldy. This one is a dream in that area. 3. It is not clear as to the need for any kind of a box. When I sent mine up, the was no difference between box and no-box. I have a metal roof. So I have to be outside mounted. I recommend that anyone does a great deal of research. Picking it and installing it are first things. After that comes the part where a rubber hammer works great. That means when you get hot over trying to get it to work, you can beat the ground or a tree. Saves you from throwing the antenna! Good luck! Although the tip on using the existing house RG wiring for the antenna has got to be one of the biggest time & labor savers I've seen. Thanks!
Mine gave out after a very short time. I think the antenna is fine but the motors are not good in my opinion. Yes it does seem cheaply made but it is a low low cost antenna. But, it should live up to its claims for a little while. I need to test some more antennas.
Need to walk us through connecting the antenna cords. I'm standing here with two long cords and a little black box but no manual to tell me what to do. Thought I figured it out but can't seem to get any signal.
Hello from Deland, FL. Do you remember the width of a pole? My instruction doesn't have the width of the pole and I measure the hole and it's a little less than an Inch. I have to buy a new pole. Thank you for sharing. Blessings. Zonia
@@tonysreviews who would believe our technology would improve so drastically. Now my tv can talk to me and remember what I like to watch . When I was little we would stare at a test pattern waiting for shows.
Angela I would stay up real late to watch horror movies with hosts like Elvira. And sometimes I could stay up late enough to see that test pattern! LOL and then Timothy Church Mouse would come on! 😊
@@tonysreviews I remember those horror movies with Elvira. Especially the B movies. I was the one staying up all night watching classic black and white movies.
Angela Critters my Dad RV’s a lot and he got a portable satellite 📡 dish. I don’t see why one of these antennas might not be a good alternative. Great idea on your part!😊
so i got one, and they are flimsy, so i hot glued every crevise and also zip tied the whole thing everywhere, but stuck in attic , before putting it outside, pointed north/ northeast to satelites 35 miles away, and get 61 HD OTA channels Free! it has an amplifier, and rotation (but don,t need it to move), ..just watch using splitters and long R59 cable will degrade your signal. Lastly, when getting this or any antenna, make sure it gets the low and high frequencies...45-900mhz, then tell the cable company where to go! Update...i put it outside on a pole (shower curtain rod), rescanned and Now get 76 channels free...Lead ZM
CrazyDonutFace hot gluing every crevice is pure genius. Everyone needs to do this and I may take this down just to reinforce it. Right on! Thanks for all the information!
Dear Tony, 1st thank you for the whimsical instruction video! I know this might be a stupid question, but as I assembled it I noticed the only signals mentioned in the instructions were vhf and uhf, which reminded me of the old non digital sign als. Sooo is this actually to pick up the newer digital signal or the now unused old kind of vhf/uhf signal? Your expertise is appreciated.
They still use VHF and UHF frequencies , antenna is designed to receive certain frequencies it does not matter if it is digital or analog, it is up to your TV tuner to recognize it as analog or digital
Tony, do you know if this antenna filters out LTE signals, or if an add-on filter would be advisable? I know it has an amplifier either in the antenna or the rotor box, but not sure about the filter.
DO NOT BUY THIS ANTENNA, buy a winegard, channel master or televes. These antennas are very cheaply made and are known to fail. I don't understand, people pay $120 a month for cable but when it comes to buying a ONE TIME PURCHASE of an antenna that can last for 20 years they bargain hunt
This antenna is S__T. Have seen this advertised to pick up station from 990, 150 miles away. My closest station are 70 miles away and can't pick up anything. I would not recommend this product. I have this mounted on a 20' pole and nothing. The only instruction that come with are just how to install, nothing about it's operation. DO NOT BUY.

Hello love! Your reviews are always so entertaining LOL! Wow that is a great signal. Lots of channels. Great review love!
Hey it's been 4 years since this review.....how is the antenna holding up?
It is now in the trash. It did not hold up. The motor was garbage. Thanks for watching!
@@tonysreviews Thanks for the honesty. Could you recommend one that does hold up?
Always love your reviews. Keep up the amazing work and I went and I put this video on Twitter.

Thanks buddy for this great review
Do I need any other boxes to use this antenna
No you don’t. It comes with everything you need. Thank you Raymond!
I lost the remote. How do I buy another one? I am also from Indy. Jim
Where do you get one at I would like to buy one
Our antennae is not moving
wow so great brother tony i need this one so that we don't need cable channel to pay monthly
EL ROSE Luvs Journey yes you and Dorothy need this one for sure! No cable bill for me either!
This was a great review because I would like to get a good antenna soon.
Wow good review dear i need this antena like it
I have a leadzm TA-102m that is new. It is set up except that the rotor won't operate. The remote is different from the one in the video. Help ???
Mine broke too. Sorry I just saw this comment. I have a tried a couple different antennas and the motors go bad fast.
you got cables connected wrong
Awesome review, Tony!! Hope things are going well for you! Happy new year!! 🥳🎉🎊
Whats wrong with the old coat hanger in the shape of Australia? Or even a Vegemite jar with an extension lead?
Or the kid that stands behind the tv and holds the antenna once everyone says THAT'S IT
I was that kid holding that Australia shaped antenna back in the 1980’s! Hahahaha!! Love it guys!!❤️❤️

Beauty with Miss Dee I agree Dee, it’s a decent price for all the channels you can get. 😊Have a great week!
Antenna works as expected, but no off on switch on power box. Is it OK to leave it on when not in use?
I do. Thanks for watching!
Great review Tony! I use an antenna right now and it’s not very good. Might have to try this one ☝️. Merry Christmas 🎄
This is a helpful. I wouldn't be able to pronounce it either. lol

Did u use a converter box or just go from power supply box straight into tv?
I'm thinking about some friends of mine that RV full time. This would be better than nothing. 35 channels beats zero channels

good job Tony boy you are always good n reviewing. Is that new ? I didn't see that Antena in walmart
Why is it a few of the channels have no voice?
I muted them for copyright purposes. Thank you for watching!
Is it still working? Do you think I could mount a cell phone booster antenna on top of it to use it as a rotator?
The antenna is still working but the motor is not. I think this makes 3 different antennas for me that the motors went bad in quickly. #junkmotor
zero instructions on how to connect the amplifier
oh this is great you dont need to pay every month channels are free setup and review tom cruise.
+Aileen Krell yes free TV is the way to go! Thank you AK! 😊have a great week!

HI TONY, QUESTION, THIS ANTENNA MADE IN CHINA?
It is made by a Chinese company so yes I think it is made in China. It’s still working great. Thanks for watching Thomas!
Our antennae doesn't turn
