REMOVE the rod from the AA battery and insert it into the remote control , I want to share with you professional tips for repairing your remote control if one of the buttons does not work. In this video I will show you a simple and effective way to restore the functionality of your remote control.
First, let's take a look at the remote control. This will allow us to access the buttons and board on the remote that may be causing the button not to work.
To repair the remote control you will need one AA R6 battery. First cut the battery and take out the carbon rod. This rod will be the key ingredient in our repair.
Then grind the charcoal rod to get fine dust. This can be done, for example, using a hammer and a flat surface.
After that, using glue, glue the rubbed carbon rod to the back of the non-working button. Coal dust will create additional contact and help restore the functionality of the button.
To ensure a reliable connection, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of glue and press the button against the remote control board for a few minutes to allow the glue to dry.
Next, to ensure full functionality of the remote, wipe the back of the buttons and contacts on the circuit board using isopropyl alcohol. This will help remove possible contamination and ensure reliable contact.
Now your TV remote is fully functional again and ready to use! You saved time and money without having to buy a new remote control.

I have done repairs to remote controls on quite a few occasions, but I have never found a glue that will permanently
adhere to a button.
Another way of 'repairing' a button, is to use a paper hole cutter and cut a disc of aluminium foil to glue on the pad.

Проще взять простой карандаш мягкий инатереть не кнопки, а гнезда так же ватной палочкой.
Полная ерунда по 2 причинам. 1) К силиконовой кнопке приклеить эту пыль хорошо не получится, и она очень очень быстро вся отвалится, проверено не раз !!! нужен только специальный силиконовый клей, а купить его не просто !!! разве что на сам силикон сажать, но он должен быть хорошего качества, но при этом цена тюбика силикона будет такая, что проще купить новый пульт !!! и 2) протирать кнопки изопропиловым спиртом КАТЕГОРИЧЕСКИ НЕЛЬЗЯ !!!!!!!, а для дураков пишу специально - СОВСЕМ НЕЛЬЗЯ (а ацетоном и подавно, если кому в голову придёт - это не головка от магнитофона) !!! Так как вы стираете им тончайший токопроводящий слой на кнопках. И использовать ватный тампон тоже категорически нельзя !!! После такого протирания даже те кнопки, которые работали хорошо могут совсем перестать работать - проверено многократно. Протирать кнопки можно только мыльным раствором и мягкой поролоновой губкой !!! в общем это видео я бы назвал так - КАК СВОЙ ЕЩЕ ХОТЬ КАК-ТО РАБОТАЮЩИЙ ПУЛЬТ ДОБИТЬ ДО КОНЦА !

Странный вы ремонтник!? Я больше 20лет связан с электроникой и такой чуши не слышал. Всегда смазвали чистой пылью с мягкого графитового карандаша, и ни один клиент ещё не пожаловался! И плату спиртом протирали и кнопки марлевым тампоном и всё работало на ура!
I assume you can use the carbon rod from a dead, flat battery as it's only the carbon you need?
