Everyone kept saying that at the online Marillion convention...
I get a genesis-lamb time frame vibe occassionally, but mostly it sounds like Mark Kelly. I LOVE this track, its extremely complex if you try to play it, it's up there with Suppers and any others in that regard. Have to check out more if there is, havent been impressed like this since I was in my teens over a new group. The vocals are very nice.
Am I the only one who thinks Pete "Woody" Woods, lead guitar through most of the song, looks and plays an awful lot like Steve Rothery?
What parts of that intro is Mark Kelly actually playing ? Very very little i believe. I was wondering why does the Bassist need a very cumbersome and prog looking Doubleneck with one of the Guitarists hardly doing anything, and then i read that he is Mark Kellys nephew and it all made sense ! I must say the music is good though. Prog on.
Extremely disappointed beyond words. The fake approach and lack of any real emotional delivery is only outweighed by the sadly disappointing absence of originality and creativity. I was hoping for so, so much more….
