- This video is Day 3 of my Oxford Interview vlogs! I actually finished my interviews that day and instead focused on networking with the AMAZING people around me. I vlogged some other people's experiences of their interviews for different subjects so that you can get to know the general consensus, but it's clearly difficult to know how they actually went 💖 to this day I've also currently got NO voice (at all!!), likely because I strained it so much on these days haha! regardless, I had such an amazing experience meeting such interesting people from a range of backgrounds (& countries!). Even if nothing comes of my interviews, I know I've used the time I had at Oxford to enjoy it as much as possible! x

I'm so glad they're insightful! Personally, I think it's definitely worth applying even if you're not certain. If you do get through to interviews, it's a very telling experience to see if you like the atmosphere and the college system etc! It's your choice as much as theirs ❤️ thank you so much! x

Wishing you all the best with whatever the outcome may be! I'm currently in year 12 and having the worst time trying to decide what I want to do after I finish year 13! My anxiety has been terrible and I'm just trying to be calm about the whole thing 💛
Thank you so much Hannah!! I completely understand the point you're at 💘 there's this underlying pressure to know exactly what you want to do. I promise you'll figure it out as you go along (i only decided my course a month or two before I applied haha!), and you can always take a gap year! You WILL be okay, and I'm sending you lots of virtual hugs and love x

Me neither! I'm from Switzerland and even though we have good bookstores here, I felt like Blackwell is just out of this world the first time I was in Oxford x
I really liked that the guys in your vlog hugged each other. All the Boys I know would just do a check or something because they are embaressed to hug each other. They probably think it would make them less of a man. Complete rubbish, in my opinion.
Anyways, the vlog was amazing and managed to make me smile just as every time when I watch one of your videos!
I'm Canadian as well, and I could never tell we had an accent until this video lmao! Congrats on completing your interviews Jade! xx

I mainly sat in my room watching youtube videos 😂 not even about interviews just completely random things. My first interview kinda sucked but my second went really well (as far as I can tell) but I don't know if it was enough for the offer.

Where was that you had breakfast this day? 😂 I did a your of new college with a group at my school and it was amazing. Hoping to study PPE or Law at Oxford I am going to Oxford tonight if I can make it through the snow and I am only like 30 minutes from Oxford so have such a connection with all the places you went to xx

Congrats Jade on the interview! I'm sure you did so well! TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP. I'm currently in year 11 and have mocks for the next two weeks. Due to a mixture of things including laziness, I have not revised much at all for these exams, and will most likely fail all of them. Is it possible to fail mocks and still pass my GCSE's? Technically yes! For example, if you took a gap year, you could re-apply! x

I think definitely at the start, yes! I don't know what specialist I want to go into so I'd rather have the breadth at the start! That sounds really cool though x

For a lost voice, get a bowl, fill it with boiling water put a towel over your head and STEAM. Make sure you don't speak after you do, so do it right before you go to sleep!! It helps a bunch :))
