Unfortunately, there were some fairly significant audio issues that affect the first 2 minutes of this video that I couldn't resolve. I'll probably re-dub that part at some point and upload a cleaner version, but I know people were waiting on this and I wanted to release the video as soon as possible. Let me know if you really want that re-dub! Thank you all for your patience, I know a lot of people are waiting on me to make tutorials! I'll try and make them more often. Luckily, I'm close to being allowed to monetize my channel, and if that happens, I'd be able to put more time into making videos! Next up is team building tips! Also, I'm going to start making character tutorials! On my community tab, soon I'll be asking you guys who I should make a tutorial for first! Keep an eye out for that post. Thank you for all your support!
Uhhh heads up, at around 9:22 the lightning loops are so loud it's hard to hear your voice, might want to universally turn down the game audio a little throughout the video as well
I must say, I am consistently blown away at the sheer quality and thoroughness of your guides. Not only are they filled to the brim with useful information, they are also very easy to follow in a way that a newbie like myself rarely if ever get lost. You strike a very fine and precise balance with your videos, coupled with clear wording and clean editing makes your videos not only informative, but engaging to watch. Keep up the great work.
That really means a lot to me, thank you! I have a TON to improve on with my editing and overall presentation, but I do try really hard to make sure things are clear and thorough. I’m glad people are finding them helpful!
I'd really love to see this series finished. This has single handedly gotten me to understand a lot of the game and I've not wanted to lab this much since FighterZ came out
Good pacing, easy to understand, straight to the point and with good visual guidance. A stellar example of how guides for newer players should be made, great work.
That's extremely high praise, thank you. I'm not the best when it comes to making videos, but I do care about making easily digestible, but thorough content.
Got into the genre with Fighterz and upon booting up the game and finding out there’s no in game tutorial was a surprise. This series has been especially helpful in finding out how the game plays. Thanks for all that you have done!
Bummer we never got a continuation of this series. The team building guide would have been awesome, and characters guides even moreso. Probably one of the best fgc guide formats I've seen and it got cut short 😭
Great video. I have always wanted to really get into Marvel 3 but the complete lack of in or out of game tutorial materials has made that hard. Really appreciate whenever people give it a shot.
this was super helpful as someone who is familiar with fighting games but not marvel specifically. learning a ""Bnb"" off the wiki is super daunting cuz of how much advanced tech can be in there (especially dante...) so talking about building a combo block by block like this was waaay more helpful than anything else ive found. good stuff
I say the biggest strength is that he's busing the same consistent characters cause if he was switching to characters all over the roster then some people would get confused or information would overload. So by keeping to a handful of characters he has people try out those characters with the attributes they want and branch off from there. I kinda use cause I main Dr. Doom and Captain America so I've been looking for a third and this kinda helped out a lil bit
Wow I’ve seen you compete quite a few times for a long time and I’m just noticing. This game truly involves grind I’m just trying to complete all the mission combos. All 3 vids so far has helped immensely thank you
Haha yeah? Thanks! Honestly kinda can't believe people actually watch my matches. Glad the videos are helping out! I know it's a difficult game, but I know you can do it. Took me a long time to do all the mission mode combos too, but eventually I got it done, and I know you will too!
Excellent work as always mate, super happy to see this come out! I'll be waiting for the redub too (if you feel inclined to do it, the video's already great!), if only to get the definitive experience!
I just got into the fgc recently and UMVC3 caught my attention but i couldn't find any guides, and i just found this series so i can finally get more deeply into this game
Glad to hear it! Hopefully I can keep making helpful guides. Hoping you stick with the game, it’s really great! Are you in any of the UMVC3 discords? Might be a good idea to find other newer players to practice with!
These guides have really helped me see the potential I can have as I learn the game. The info you provided for this combo guide will be invaluable as I get back into this game. I played casually when it first came out over 10 years ago but I want to really understand how to play this game right so I can hold my own in online matches.
ive found that watching this guide has helped me do WAY more damage when i fight people, especially amaterasu (that little dog thing yk) i hate him cuz my main is dante and i can hardly hit any of my special attacks thanks for making this guide
hey I just got this game from the evo sale on steam and your guides are the easiest to understand. but when i heard this wasnt the actual supposed end of the guide series I got rly sad thinking that maybe u dropped it. hopefully u come back into it, because i d like to hear what u have to say
Another great guide!! My air combos kept dropping and I didn't know what I was doing wrong... turns out I was jumping upward after S and not UP-forward. Once again thank you for making these guides!
Awesome and informative content! Glad your making MVC3 videos as I just got into it last week and I want to learn more so thank you very much for this! Looking forward to more MVC3 videos!
Bro you're tutorials are really great. Love the content. I know you mentioned next video will be about team structure, will you be going over assists and confirming into assists as well?
@Heefnoff where’s more of these bro, I’ve been trying to learn the game and these are easily the best guides I’ve seen for the game as a new FG player.
Yo I didn't know the last video came out literally 30 minutes ago I just bought a series S a few days ago and picked up this game cause I can no longer play mvc 2 and I am fucking loving it and thank you for teaching me the mechanics this game never did. I played this game for years on 360 never knew how to X Factor
@Heefnoff I think you should definitely do a video on team synergy as I know it’s definitely a huge part of tag fighters like this so for instance I plan on using she hulk as my main point character and I need to figure out how to find characters that have good synergy with her.
@Heffnoff I’m still waiting on that team synergy guide as I’m still really struggling to build a team around having my web slinging pal Spider-Man on point and what would go good with him in the anchor 1 and 2 positions I know, you may be asking “why must Spider-Man be on point?” That would be because he’s my favorite marvel character of all time and I want to use him as my main character/point character when it comes to this game.
You talked about dropping combos as a mechanic in the game to prevent infinites but my problem is the timing on these combos, especially for certain characters like: sentinel, where you need to time your jump and first attack because you obviously want the enemy pretty much beneath you, and then you need to like, space out the combo to time your landing to get another launch or special? Seems like I'm making it more complicated than it has to be
Hello I bought umvc3 since its on sale. I mainly play Tekken 7 and Street Fighter 5. I want to try a team fighter so I bought this one. Is there any discord dedicated for umvc3?

@@The-toast Damn, was worried about that, thanks for catching that! Guess I forgot to balance the audio there properly, I’ll keep that in mind.
Nice to see ya continue this great series with beginners in mind. Fyi leave Iron Fist tutorial to me because I want to dive deeeeep.
@@bryansnaylor For sure my friend, gotta leave that to the pros! Let me know when you get it done, I’d like to support!
All the 3 vid ligit helped me get better at the game now my nutural in this is game aint bad anymore cant wait for the last one

Same, these are some of the best structured/paced guides for any game I've seen
And that's why it's my favorite fighting game of all time, and I'm sure no other fighting game will most likely never reach again.
I've accepted that I will always be garbage at this but I'm still watching.
Good pacing, easy to understand, straight to the point and with good visual guidance.

Me and my friend are just starting to pick up this game, thanks for literally giving me all the resources I need to get a jumpstart off the bat!
Wish I had something like that.

Its been, how long, and I just got my first ever throwbreak yesterday in Umvc3. Didn’t even think it was possible

Yes! I consider that a part of team composition so I’ll be going over it.

Seeing as UMvC3 is at EVO this year, I'm really hoping you got some video ideas for the game. That team building one would be cool tbh.
Damn, I just noticed this was like a year ago and the video before that was also like a year. Looking forward to part 4 soon lol
Thanks dude can't wait for more!
Been playing this game on psvita since 2013. Now I finally know how to actually play this game. Lmao
I still can’t believe a competitor did a “Zero” infinite combo on a grandma.
i just bought this Game for series x, really want to get good even if it looks complicated, i have to study this videos
Yo! I'm introducing myself into UMVC3 and your guides are incredibly well done, are you planning on making more guides?
I am! Been tough to make them recently, but I do plan to upload something soon!
I come from dbfz and this really helps me understand
I'm a beginner who mains Spidey, Cap and Iron Man, and this guide helped me alot thank you so much!
Oh wow that team is awesome! Hoping I can provide some info off of those characters soon! Keep up the good work with your practice!
@@heefmvc thanks, I be here for your next tutorial.
I cannot do a combo with an assist, idk if its my team or what but it drops when I try
Will the series ever continue?
I need this😅
great video! is there a reason why you're mashing during supers? does it increase damage?
Actually yes! I forgot to mention it in the mechanics video, but if a super has multiple hits and you mash buttons, the super does more damage!
@@heefmvc been playing this game for a few years and never knew that... 😅 thanks for the heads up! looking forward to more vids

The ground bounce is different on characters like Hulk tho. He gets a hard knockdown instead of the combo dropping.
Yeah one thing I forgot to explain was that what happens after the second groundbounce depends on the move.
