I missed my chance to get this guy for a decent price. Apparently Hasbro has no plans to go a studio series 86 of Megs, so this is the closest we’ll get. Thanks for the link!
...and since this G1 Megatron toy here retains the clips for the stock, you can still use the stock either from your other Megatron toy or 3D printed pieces from Destron Designs...
Maybe Hasbro is trying to avoid basically selling a toy gun again but if they marketed the G1 Megatron as the original figure, accessories and package they would be printing money. Kids can get their own "guns" these days anyways.
Youre both right! Megatron was released in Japan with no chrome and blue legs and arms. (E-hobby reissued this as Megaplex) Later Megatron in red. (Goodbye Megatron) The 16 Special Reissue in Japan was the American/Microchange "Man from UNCLE" type with chrome and all the accessories.
I wish it wasn't a two pack & you could get retro Megatron by itself
Same but im still so tempted to buy it though just for G1 Megatron

Nice review! Looks like it’s sold out. At least the one from the link is.

@@GhostPrimeReviewsthank you!! Appreciate the help!
I want this set so bad
I wish they made g1 megs with blue instead of red
I think that's Megaplex. Based on the MC-12 Walther P-38.
Megatron is MC-13 Walther P-38 UNCLE.
