    So simple yet so effective. Both in function and aesthetically. Just great.

    Very cool stuff! Thanks for sharing the process. I dig your ID style sketches as well!

      Thanks! I’m actually super self conscious about my sketching so that’s nice to hear :)

    DUDE! love your vids and I hope you'll stick around. Been wanting to do product design as a hobby for the longest time. And I'm thinking that making videos like yours would actually make it viable

    The final comment cracked me up! Im also an industrial designer, and I think I also need a pen organizer...

      Ah do you mean you think they sponsored this or something? Because they didn’t :)

    You are great at sketching. That would be hard for me with the 3d pencil holders that you drew.

    I really liked this chill little project. The videos I'm more familiar with of yours are the more "polished" how to design __blank____ videos but it was really nice to see a super laid back -I just want to make it so I'm going to- video : :) nice work

    Very cool! Reminds me a bit of the Pearson Lloyd bFRIENDS. Get a big fat nozzle and printing in vase-mode would print super fast!

    • @somegraythings
      @somegraythings  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I saw that too! I’m pretty sure I saw it after. But who knows, maybe I saw it before and subconsciously stole it. Hopefully not though

    • @timgolnik
      @timgolnik 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@somegraythingsoh no, not implying any theft at all - yours is sufficiently different! just saying a massive nozzle and vase mode would get you that form really fast!

    • @somegraythings
      @somegraythings  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@timgolnik o definitely. I thought about getting some new nozzles. Although I do like that I can just print without messing around with things. Also, I think I printed the wall 5mm, which makes it really stiff and feels high quality, compared to a lot of single wall 3D prints, even if they were printed with really thick nozzles.

    Your videos are amazing! Can you do a video dedicated to "flowing chamfers"?

      @somegraythings Beautiful and creative project, well designed. It definitely changes the way people think about mics.
      I hope more projects like this one will find their way to us.
      Sadly, the mic is SOLD OUT. Hopefully it will be back again.
