I've found my new mentor and stylistic inspiration. God, Jim, you are a genius. I wish I could have studied under your tutelage from day 1. You have the gift lf unlocking the Telecaster's subtlety but with bold harmonic brilliance that is surpassed by none. Thank you.
Oh wow. Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1. I learned that on piano a long way back before I switched to a Telecaster. :-) Love your style and sound and the guitar is amazing.
Just threw my hat in the ring for the Model C and I couldn’t be more excited. Thank you Chihoe and Jim for offering a stunning instrument for a reasonable price. Makes getting closer to Jim’s music and all the music I love that much easier.
Great sounding guitar and phenomenal playing, Jim! I could listen to that all day, but one and a half hours at a concert would suffice for starters. ;-) Any plans for maybe playing in Germany someday?
Funny, I didn't really recognize it, but all of a sudden found myself thinking of Satie when I heard that piece. It's very beautiful and well worth pursuing further, I'd guess.
You are right. Everybody plays guitar like they play bass. One note on one string at the time. Everybody want to be SRV. Great virtuoso but man such a simplistic three chords pentatonic music.
Love the Guitar and your Beautiful playing Jim. Is it a top loader like your 59? Your Trio is Killer, i will be buying your new CD! You are my favorite Tele Player! Thanks for sharing! Any chance you will be playing anywhere near Cincinnati this year?
Thank you for your gracious post. The Model C is not like my 59 but it's a great pine telecaster with a light finish made by a great luthier. We will be in Minneapolis, Chicago in Sept but not Cincinnati - I'm sorry. Thank you for buying my music...Model C For more info, email chihoe@hahnguitars.com or call 845-269-8275 www.hahnguitars.com/model-c/
What is that song...we used it in an AV Modual I shot for Sears Casual men's clothing in the 80's really nice and I am assuming this is a Princeton that my brother designed for FMIC...Jim I love your work...Brian K -
Jim, you are one of the greats. Huge inspiration to all of us players. A wonderful thing you & Chihoe are doing with this model. Is this available in Lefty?
When i saw the prices i thought, 2 maybe 3 telecasters would be a better use of my money, for the same price. You're never gonna convince me that these telecaster knockoffs are going to be twice the guitar the tele is.
Five years later, my Model C just left my hands and is sitting on my couch! I love it!
I never thought i would hear Jim play the Gymnopedie. Now I´ve heard everything! Such a lovley guitar
instablaster
Man this guy is a true musician. Really has a unique voice and style.

Jim's playing from 3:05 to 3:35...just dreamy. Would love to hear a whole song like that.

I don't have a lot of guitar heroes but this guy's one of em.. superb musicians musician.

Thanks for getting one Chihoe! Looking forward to the day!
Wow, incredible playing even when just messing around. Fantastic tone! I didn't catch the name of the pickups in that guitar.
I wish these were still 1495. I would jump on it.
The model C sounds awesome, and Jim sounds good as always. Think you guys made something special there, feel lucky to have been able to order one :)
Thank you sir - we think you'll be happy. Have a great day!
Wow! Jim's playing is heavenly. ✨
Great playing.
Jim you kick ass. A REAL player. High five.
Are they all done? I cant wait to get mine.
Would love a vid of Jim noodling around for an hour🔊✨✨
Who is the "Esteban" he talks about @ 9:09 ?
what an amazing demonstration of the new guitar!
"We don't want to sound like Esteban about this guitar......" LOL. Quote of the day
I hope we don't- even though part of me loves Esteban infomercials ha ha!
They need to make a Model F for Bill Frisell also
Damn, Jim sounds fantastic!
Great sounding guitar and phenomenal playing, Jim! I could listen to that all day, but one and a half hours at a concert would suffice for starters. ;-) Any plans for maybe playing in Germany someday?
We wish ...Thank you for your post.
Would love to hear that Satie with the trio! Have you done that?
Hmmmm- your suggestion started me thinking about that possibility. Thank you - I love Satie's music.
Funny, I didn't really recognize it, but all of a sudden found myself thinking of Satie when I heard that piece. It's very beautiful and well worth pursuing further, I'd guess.
Please note the metronome in the background
We all have one of those, right? Guys?
Also, 9s make a huge difference in getting Jim's toans
I know Hahn is a fairly exclusive luthier but are these made in the U.S.? $1,500 seems very reasonable if they are made here.

Gymnopedie #1 Erik Satie
God damn!! Can you tell us Jim how do you like your guitars setup? Action release etc. Thank you!
Is that a Carr amp? This came in thru a search for the Mercury V. Would explain that huge touch sensitivity!
60's Princeton Reverb - Thank you
that pick up sounds amazing.
Gemini pickups- Google Gemini Suprocaster. That's the pickup. Rob makes and killer gold foil too
Pure tone.
wow, sounds like a piano ,and Iam listening over my phone

That's Satie Gymnopodie #1
Lefty too....?
Don't hate on me but Jim's voice reminds me of Crispen Glover's voice!!!
The Satiecaster

What are the pickups in this guitar? I checked Hahn's website, and it's not mentioned there either.
What pickups are on this model?
who's playing rhythm guitar?
Me on a Boomerang Phrase Sampler... Thank you
