- We got the chance to test out the 125 cc mean machine of Aprilia. Well it may not be the latest bike out there but here in Malaysia, it is something that not everyone would like to own one. Since the price itself is very pricey and the bike itself is not very powerful.
But we are always curious about this bike and this led us to testing out this baby RSV4 on Malaysian Road.

Gotta give props to you guys. +1 for doing the review in English. Love the cinematography, transitions and music. Not a lot out there who are doing this. Keep up the good work. I want to see more stuff like this!

klau ak ade duit. aku akn beli moto ni tak kisah mahal. mmg la tak power la, itu la inila. tpi bgi ak, 125cc 4 stroke mampu mngluarkn 15hp, lngkap ade quick shift, rigid frame, twin cam. compression ratio dah 12.5. tpi moto ni still bole buat touring. klau moto ex5 korang nak bgi capai tu 15hp dgn 125cc atau wave 125 tnpa bore up, pening gak korang. bile dah smpi angka 15hp tu, tak dpt buat touring la, minyak cepat abis la. setting tak ngam la. mcm2 laa. tpi moto ni sdh direka dgn ckup baik. rs125 yg two stroke tu pun ckup perfect jgk, dgn kapasiti enjin 125cc, blh capai angka 28hp dgn setting2 yg drg terapkn, tpi still blh buat touring, than lasak. klau 125z korang nak bgi capai 28hp tpi dgn syarat tak bole up cc, pening jgk korang klau nak bgi tu moto tahan lasak, bole jalan jauh buat touring.
Puasa kot.. hee. Time hari jumaat wat shooting. Ape2 pn terbaikkk
dah name aprilia.. hanya utk die-hard-fan. owner sendiri cakap bukan value for money punye bike. tapi die beli, sebab die memang minat aprilia. material, technology pun lain2.

Yeah I have to agree with the summing up, most people buy this bike solely for the looks, I bought my rs 125 extrema (2 stroke) because it just looked....intruiging, the rs4 is 100 times better looking, I have not rode the rs4 but if it handles like you would expect from aprilia it's going to be a dream! my extrema handled flawlessly, which is almost a bad thing because it makes you a little corky and complacent sometimes. As for the price, I live in the uk, and I think it is a tad pricey, but that would not stop me from buying one, and if you look at its competition (yzf 125, cbr 125 AJS 125, the prices are all pretty similar, but your getting the best machine with aprilia. maybe the only other 125 I would consider is the Reiju, which seems very similar in all aspects. to be honest though I hope lots of people don't buy it because when I get mine I want it to be unique!
it came with a pillion seat, but this particular bike was fitted with a single seat
How about the fuel efficiency ? good?
If you ride this bike at highway speeds around 120km/h will the engine feel busy? as in it needs more power or another gear? and how are the vibrations at highway speeds?
1. fuel efficiency?
2. top speed?
3. heat?(does it gave off too much heat that its unpleasant to ride).
4. front shocks(on cornering & braking, does it have adjustment)
5. rear shocks(specially on cornering)
6. tire grip(if stock tire).
7. hud information
8. braking power.
9. traffic performance(enough torque to make easy riding easy?).
your voice is quite boring. but if you include this basic info on your review it will be much more interesting.
Whats the reliability on this bike?
Does the Aprilia RS4 125 have hydraulic brakes?
I think it good video for me to check it out a new bike such as aprilia that i not farmiliar with 4 stroke, I think Aprilia better reproduce RS125 2013 again

around 120.. yeahh it is screaming and vibrating a lot.. but you know it won't go any further as you realized that it's already in top gear..

I'm from Italy and i'm sad.. This one is not a real Aprilia. It's a Derbi Gpr with Aprilia rsv4 look. I hope Aprilia will return to produce a 125cc bike in her factory, like she did with the two stroke model. Forza Aprilia!
ı wanna learn that what is the differnt between derbi gpr and aprillia rs4 125 ? how can you understand wıth just look ? i wanna buy that motorbike and ı've to learn that
+Gurkan Saday the only difference is that aprilia has an inection alimentation. The Derbi has a carburator one. Another difference is that in the Aprilia bike, you can add the quick shift optional: in this way you can shift up without use the clutch.
come on it is a deserve price,look at their competitor like cbr 125 and yzf 125,the price almost same over that USD 6500

I think Ninja 250r cc 2013 is very better for this aprillia RS4 125 cc...sbb 2 cyclinder lebih laju dari 1 cyclinder...kalo nk tgk styles better aprilia but ninja 250 2013 pun nmpk menyerlah...so i choose ninja 250 2013..hoho ^^

seharusnya Aprilia memakai cc 250.. saya sudah boring dengan 250cc di negri saya yg semuanya model sport touring (CBR, Ninja, Z250, Inazuma/GW250). There's Minerva Megelli 250R but its made in China, with quality like a crap..
there's no real sport bike seperti Aprilia RS4 or RS125.. Saya pikir di Malaysia juga tak ada motor 250 cc with supersport riding position, isn't it?
PS: don't ask me to buy a 600cc supersport, it's too pricey because the tax.. ZX6 here cost almost 5 times Ninja 250R :(
rs4 125 vs KTM 125 ? which one better?
Ktm duke is a superb learner bike....great for long rides,and has a big bike feel to it. The aprilia looks amazing but being a sportsbike longer rides are harder work on the wrists/back etc. my rs4 has a 166 malossi kit on it giving better acceleration but top speed still much the same. Also has a quick shifter which is fun.....I currently own both bikes but have had the duke for two years

Its beautiful but the price is too high($ 7.5K in Vietnam) and with 15HP its not enough powerful.
I dont know why they dont put a 175cc on it instead of 125cc

Luis Fuchs You can actually ride a 400 or something like that as long as it's destricted to 15 hp. You can only destrict it 50% tho, or else it's illigal. Norwegian rules atleast

I'm 1.86 m tall, will i look funny on Aprilia RS4 125? I mean, will the bike look like a toy compared to me? I won't look ridiculous and absurd with my height on it?
WannaFastWin I'm 1.81m. Well I feel comfortable on the RS4. And compared to other bikes, it looks like 400CC motorbike. Recommend that you get on the bike to see whether you're comfortable with it.
It is a beautifull bike really, but its weak in top speed. I dont want to offend anyone but i wouldnt change my RS for that. good bike anyways!
