Have a 2006 Denali with 345k miles was a prior police vehicle. We have completely rebuilt with new stall, new cam, lifters, etc. The 6.0 absolutely will drive uphill on a 45 degree without skipping a beat. She is my daily for work new construction plumbing foreman. Loaded with tools and still room for hauling the guys to lunch

I’m not sure if it’s your rods maybe cams, but for me I have tick currently and it’s an exhaust leak where the small bolts are for the manifold,, basically they put small bolts there’s for whatever reason imma get a new manifold and I had a purge issue at one point as well and that’s about it, good car

Mine is an internal kinda knock. Definitely piston slap. Doesnt happen all the time and quite faint. My manifolds dont seem to be leaking yet!

Also the a/c could be your actuators messing up or gone. They’re pretty cheap part, for the miles it’s pretty good

My ac works perfect! Mind you i take the belt off in the winter, when you use Defrost the AC comes on automatically to keep the air dryer. I penny pinch my fuel mileage lol

I own a 2001 yukon xl with the 8.1l. Its got around 210k miles now, and i love the thing. Its got its issues, but ill never get rid of it. But even at 210k, motor runs smooth as butter.

Thats awesome! Id love to have an 8.1 but I commute way to far everyday for it to be cost effective lol. Ill still get my hands on one someday though

You keep saying everything good on the truck, then list off another two dozen things that don't work. Buy that $5,000 one you were mentioning.
"There is nothing wrong with this truck" 😮
