Please keep in mind that First Class can sometimes be cheaper than flat rate shipping. So if you have a lightweight package it can go First Class (with a tracking number) at a cheaper rate. Thanks for sharing this information.
first class takes longer though, right?
@@crystaloliver626 It all depends on where it's going. If it's going from Cali to GA it can take 4 to 5 days but if it's going within the same State it's shorter of course. But the post office will give you the details on cost & delivery time; if not just ask.
First class is always cheaper than flat rate but If you are shipping over one pound you normally can't use first class mail so flat rate would be recommended. I hope this helps.
I believe the first class threshold is 15oz
The maximum weight for a First Class package when you use a third party postage service is 15.99 ounces.

Just so people know, those special handling stickers cost money. If they are on your packages and they were not paid for at a counter, your packages will go postage due and the customer will have to pay to pick it up. Please just write fragile on your packages or get normal fragile stickers to avoid this.

You can get free labels from UPS.
Or you can print on regular paper and tape it to the box.

So for the priority mail flat rate envelope it will always be one set price regardless of the weight or if it weight less than 1 pound? I'm wanna make sure I understand.

However, if you are sending a package that weighs under a pound, you should use First Class.
LOVE THIS! Is this only available when using USPS Packaging? Meaning, if I wanted to use my own packaging does this still apply?
