People don’t understand that the simpler the better. You literally used simple words and instructions. Didn’t talk super fast and use unnecessary words to over explain. Love it !

I really want to start a business but the shipping part confuses 😭 I signed up for pirate ship and it asked for my address, when I ship thing will my home address be on the label or will it just be their address? I watched some people just get a P.O. Box address but those are really expensive and I’m just starting out, pls help 😭😭😭
heyy, i was also nervous about shipping with my small business, my labels contain my home address but i’m sure you can research other ways not to. i don’t sign up for any websites like easy ship or pirate ship. I suggest if you have paypal to use paypal.com/shipnow . and i’m currently trying to make a shop but the shipping prices are just super confusing
I know how you feel! I’m currently in the process of getting a PO Box because I don’t want my address exposed since they do ask you for it! At the moment I believe that’s the only way to keep your address private 😭

If you go to 'app and integrations' -> 'manufacturing, shipping, and fulfillment' -> select Pirate Ship and scroll down there's a video that shows you how to have your Big Cartel unshipped orders imported into Pirate Ship automatically and you don't have to copy and paste.
I actually found an easier way to do the shipping labels for the pirate ship app to your big cartel store!!!!! You can add it to your store so you do have to go back and forth

I’m going to start a business on big cartel as well, but the problem is I’m still lost 😔 on the shipping part and on how you transfer the stuff from big cartel to the pirate thing.
I know it looks difficult! Your customers info will be on your big cartel site, you will see it on the orders section. Copy and paste it to the pirate ship website, put how heavy your package is, and the length. And you’re good to go! You just need to buy the label and it’s super cheap!

When a customer orders do they receive an order number? Also when I take it to the post office and it has shipped how will I know? How will I get the tracking number

Amazon and other websites should Have different colored packaging! It doesn’t have to be a certain color. :) all my packaging comes in pink, that’s it. 😌

Are you talking about the padded poly mailers from USPS? Those can only be use for flat rate shipping.
