Chet was and still is, my inspiration. His impeccable arrangements and taste along with his masterful ability continues to amaze me. Chet's goal was playing perfection. Getting it 100% on the money. There are plenty of very talented players out there, but no other guitarist has ever mastered his tasteful arrangements and his pure playing ability. An amazing talent.
Besides being so perfectly skilled at his art the thing that I always noticed about Chet's music was the tone quality. Many pickers can come close to playing the same notes but no one I have ever heard can match the sound itself that Chet acheived. Many on you tube can play very well, tunes like Swedish Rhapsody from Chet's Fingerstyle album but no one has come close to the tonal quality. Just the right mix of reverb, echo, etc. I'll grant you Chet had the best professional equipment but even considering that he really knew how to utilize it to the fullest.

I love the tune (Sir Paul's favorite of all of the tunes he wrote), I love Chet, I love the way he plays, but honestly? This is one of the least interesting cuts of his I've ever heard.
