Try to keep this brief, but Russell's get me talking. I'm 49, live in Maryland, and a few years ago I was online looking for high quality leather boots and was directed to your site. Did my due diligence, but before I pulled the trigger I called my dad and mentioned I was going to buy a pair of Russell's. To my surprise, not only had he heard of them, but said that his (late) father wore them, and my aunt still had a 50 yr old pair (in her closet). I was sold. Bought the Art Carter's and the Imperials. Three years later, and I appreciate them more every day. It's gotten to the point that I jones for fall weather so I can ditch my sandals for my MORE comfortable Russell's. Weird, but true. Beautiful boots. Impeccably made. Take care of them with Obenauf's and they'll last a lifetime. PS: Got a kick out of the bloopers

im from germany and was looking for really good handcrafted leather boots and this is where my search has brought me. im in awe with this craft and the quality of these boots. i ll soon be ordering my first pair, but first i need to save up a little more cash. really looking forward to walking in these kind of shoes, continuing the history in which quality and craftmenship is equally honored and allocated. thanks for the video and the detailed insight into the company. greetings from frankfurt. btw: in frankfurt ther eis already a red wings and a doc martins shoes store. this is for the hipsters. for the real OGs there needs to be a store from you guys. i bet in germany you ll find enough craftmen that'll be ready to be trained to craft the shoes your way. it would be such a win for germany.

Best boots I ever owned. Too bad I can’t order another pair now. They are so busy after being sold that they are not taking orders until mid 2023. I absolutely love supporting a company that made such quality. I hope the new owners value the people that made this company so awesome. I wish I had not waited to order a new pair. I am not wealthy but when I put on my bird shooters to hit the fields every morning I feel very very fortunate. God bless those people that made this happen for me. Makes a thirty hour day feel like a walk in the park.

I bought my first pair at Dunns Supply in Grand Junction Tn. someone had returned them they were pretty scuffed up....I've never had a pair custom made I've just always bought my exact size and a 1/2 size larger when insulated and have never been disappointed in fit or quality. If I had to choose just one model it would be the Signature Series South 40 Bird shooter.

Once upon a time they catered to the customers wishes. Then they sold out, now the models are limited to what the company wants to make, not what the people want to buy. I wanted a pair of their leather snake boots. There gone and so is my interest in Russell Moc's.

+RQSIII Obenauf's is the best boot dressing paste. I treat mine twice a year with a warm blow drier and the stuff melts right into the leather.

It is unfortunate to have to wait, but I'd rather wait than see this amazing company oversell it's ability to manufacture only to have quality drop.
