Hi! I only hiked the GR131 and it took me 2 days. I did not bring a tent as I was on holiday with my partner and we'd rented a car so she picked me up/dropped me off in Igualero, and met me in Playa de Vallehermoso on the final day. We were staying in San Sebastien. There are lots of Airbnb options on the island, it just depends where you intend on stopping and how you intend on getting there (if they're not close to the trails). The buses are infrequent. Because it's only a small island, there aren't a great deal of taxi options. It's a very quiet place away from San Sebastien. If by 'do I need a tent?' you mean can you cowboy camp, as long as the weather is good then yes, it's possible. On Gran Canaria I didn't use my tent and slept under the stars, but it can get cold, windy and does occasionally rain. I was lucky
@@JonnoDoesStuff Just got back from hiking the GR131 in La Gomera. Took me 3 days to hike from San Sebastian to Vallerhermoso. I was a bit worried about the water situation, but I was fine with only 3.5L of water. Only on the last push to Vallerhermoso I almost ran out of water, but I met 2 hikers on the trail who were kind enough to fill my empty bottle with ice tea :) Thanks for your encouragement!
Such lovely ambience. The visuals are beautiful my friend!
Thank you very much!
Sweet 🍬 Seeing the landscape takes me back. Adding GR131 to the bucket list. Anxiously waiting for the Tenerife ep. Thanks for sharing!
Sorry it's taking me ages to get it edited. Fuerteventura coming very very soon, Tenerife hopefully not too long after that
@@JonnoDoesStuff No probs bro 🤜🤛 Appreciated
I am also going to go hiking in La Gomera, gR132+131. I have a question, do I need to bring a tent? Is it possible to hike without a tent?

Great video. What were the temperatures when you did this? Want to do this hike but I'm a little worried about the heat 😬
Thanks! High 20s if I remember correctly. It's fine, just carry 3l of water and stop in the shade when you need to. Enjoy!
