I actually think her Agnes character was controlled whenever she interacted with Wanda. Just to fly under the radar because wouldn't Wanda have sensed that she was "off script" which would then raise alarm bells? Then when she was alone or away from Wanda, she'd be Agatha.
@@brandondaniels2504 Remember how Agatha called it "Autopilot" magic. Wanda wasn't actually consciously deciding what everyone should be doing. Agatha seemed peeved that with her own spellcasting she has to control the other person, which is probably what went on when she was controlling the neighbor while he was cutting the brick wall.
@@AntherMoo Yeah, i get that But with scenes like the appearance of her brother, she noted that she's not controlling that. Then there's the scene with Agatha asking if she should redo her line? (And loads more) Which caught Wanda off guard. I'm sure she would've clocked if Agatha was not under her influence when they were together.
I think she is amazing but the only thing that upsets me is that she killed sparky

It's so hard to tell if she's actually a villain or not. She's clearly done evil and selfish things, but some of it at least seems in service of Wanda.
Yeah but when she acted out of character on purpose in episode 3 .. that was very deliberate to get vision questioning wanda

In the comics from what I heard she is actually more of a frienime, even babysitting wandas kids and mentoring her...
If she mentors wanda in the ways of Magic .. then Wanda will be the ultimate villain and it will take someone like the proper phoenix from Xmen to take her on

I knew something was strange with Agatha saying “YOU CAN DO THAT?” after Tommy said she could fix the dead. Now we know that she was genuinely shocked by how powerful she could be if that were true.
I'm still convinced she was pretending because .. I actually believe Agatha could be working with hayward. Which would mean she knows the real vision is still with hayward .. but she could have been sent into the hex to get Wanda more powerful
ikr Agatha was shocked by the fact that she was able to create life because in her own words "you are a being capable of spontaneous creation" i think it was at that moment that Agatha started to get a sense of who Wanda really is.

Agatha is canonically at least 300 years old which meant she's probably familiar with sitcoms from the 1950s-2000s and that's probably why she fits in well with the sitcom world of Westview

Chaos magic is reality warping.. so it only applies to wanda .. but thinking about it 🤔 she only has telekinesis and telepathic powers so for her to even be able to achieve reality warping abilities from the start .. actually meant she has always been scarlet witch
Agatha's magic is sort of a mystery in the comics if I recall correctly. Kind of like her. Considering they are following her comic counter part pretty closely. Cuz episode 8 basically told us that Agatha is a gray character, we still don't know her alliance completely. It is speculated in the comics that she dabbled in dark arts, her magic is probably dark magic in the MCU too.
Yeah and from what I've research about her she has done some good .. she even looked after Franklin Richards with her life and he is basically like a god type level character .. soo her intentions aren't fully clear but she does come across a bit insidious

Sitcom world. It's their catchphrase, kind of like when Homer Simpson tells Flanders to shut up or when Al Bundy calls Marcy a chicken.
I think that for Wanda she “thinks” that saying that phrase is what would be said in a sitcom. To Agnes’s credit, she played her role “so” well that Wanda just naturally allowed herself to play the sitcom game as well.
The best part is that you can tell how Agatha is using her magic in relation to Wandas while actively figuring out how she’s doing it!

@@insidedenirosmind8553 Honestly that's pretty possible especially considering how much she's referencing Ralph and I believe in the comics Wiccan and speed were just parts of Mephisto's soul so them fighting against Wanda is very possible
My bets are on Mephisto being part of them twins too .. vision can not have children like a normal person .. infact vision was shocked himself .. but I think Wiccan is the only one who might have chance of defeating Wanda

WAIT I JUST REALIZED SHE WORE A WITCH COSTUME FOR HALLOWEEN
I could watch an entire black/white sitcom series of WandaVision. Not anything to do with the current events, no Hex, no Agatha plot at the end, where everything is apart of the Multiverse and is an alternate world just made for the series. It would be great to have a normal view of Wanda and Vision living their lives in a funny, nice village where everyone knows each other and is happy. Agatha was the litteral best villain I've ever seen. I don't even hate her because she was on top with her humor and acting. The acting in WandaVision during each decade was legendary. This has got to be one of the best shows ever.
I love her actor so much and her character! They both seem like to be a joy around with excluding the part where shes a power hungry manipulating witch BUT ANYWAYS

As someone who's not very familiar with the comics and had never heard of Agatha Harkness, I was very surprised by the reveal. Although I remember finding it weird that she didn't correct Vision when he "removed the spell" and kept calling her Agnes.

Why did it take this video for me to realise that Ralph her husband was Ralph Bohner?
i feel like agnes isnt really a witch or a villain but wanda needs a villain in her show. without another villain wanda is the bad guy holding people against their will which wanda obviously doesnt want to see.

I LOVE HER
Never really cared for the characters of Wanda or Vision, I did however find them at their mcu best here. But who really stood out for me was Agatha. a scene stealer in the sense of Black Widow, Rocket Racoon, and some Loki thrown in there. She possesses a dark sense of humor just like those characters & has this very uncanny suspicious yet hilarious down to earth personality.
