A good Yuri player could easily counter a few prisms, gaps and a BF. Plus mike was let down by really poor allies. If he had a good soviet ally they just would have rushed in and demolished you. I’d really like to see you play some of the bigger newer maps on CNC Bryan (eg. Europe, Mediterranean, and USA maps). You’re clearly really good on the small to medium maps but big maps bring in a whole new set of challenges and Yuri on a big map with allied and soviet allies is an absolute nightmare/impossible to beat if all players are same level in my experience. Eg. Last night I got totally owned by an average yuri player on Bay of Pigs. My thinking is that the only way to beat yuri (like allies but far worse) is to rush the hell out of them with tanks early. I’ve only managed this couple of times though. Rockies will just get shot down. But it shows how OP they are if you can only beat them in first few minutes. Once they have subs, anti air and master minds it’s game over

For instance, how to defend a player that rushes with drones, or how to deal with battle fortresses, etc. Kind of how-to video on dealing with different units thrown at you and the best way to counter. Love the videos though. Always informative and entertaining!
I kinda liken the Yuri faction in RA2 to the Eldar in the DoW series; the units themselves aren't really OP, its more of how they are used since the units are very specialized
What's your opinion on Robot Tanks? I know they're squishy, cheap, and rely on power plants, but being so fast, able to dodge tank shells and hover over water, and the inability to be mind controlled makes them seem pretty good to me

Magnetrons can lift Terror Drones. It even specifically mentions Terror Drones in a comment on the Warhead of the Magnetron's lift weapon. Here is the Warhead as proof: [LocomotorBeam] ;GEF can only grab units and terror drones Verses=0%,0%,0%,100%,100%,100%,0%,0%,0%,100%,0% To explain, The Verses= tag is what determines if the weapon can attack certain targets or not. 0% means it cannot target or do damage to that armor-type. 1% means they can target but cannot damage (This is how Desolators can attack each other but not damage each other), and any other value determines the scaling factor for damage (2% of 100 damage means the unit with that armor type only receives 2 damage) These correspond to: None, Flak, Plate, Light, Medium, Heavy, Wood, Steel, Concrete, Special 1, and Special 2. The Terror Drone has Special 1 armor-type, which the Warhead has a 100% value to.

How did you get this game in this resolution running smoothly? I've bought the game on origin and it keeps lagging.. My specs: win 10 1060 GTX 6gb. 16 RAM i5-6500
Try the CNCNet Launcher. It will apply some bug fixes and one of them is a graphics bug that makes the game lag pretty bad sometimes. Also try turning off Back Buffer in Video Memory when you get it.

Siege choppers really rip apart Prism and Mirage Tanks. The hard part is getting past the anti-air. Allies can us Rocketeers and Harriers to counter them. Black Eagles are even better, since they one-shot IFVs, Prism Tanks, and Mirage Tanks. In general main battle tanks have the best combination of armor and speed to take them out, but you'll have to be mindful of the Mirage Tanks in front. Desolators can counter them if you deploy them at the exact right distance and quickly retreat them when the enemy tanks give chase.
Soviet is better for quick game cause as Soviet you can use Rhinos rush Allied is more of end game cause once you get Battle Lab for Allied you can use Mirage and Prism tank combo.
I see the pink player is "Syria" XD lol, We love this game A LOT in Syria, it was the most popular game in Syria after CS 1.6 for like the better part of a decade.. Before the war starts of course :'(
It depends. A smart Yuri will spread all of their miners around the map so it's harder to harass several at a time and also easier to react to the harassment. Although on a super small map like this that won't work, but also on super small maps it'll be a lot easier to deal with that harassment in general.
I think if he used mass master mind instead of lasher tank vs ur prism tanks he would won it since u didn't have anything to defend the prism with but 1 bf and yes in longer game allies r stronger soviet tend to end the game fast or it will be 85% sure allies will win ofc if they both on same lvl
The problem is that Masterminds are pretty expensive. Idk why he made Lashers at all, though, because Lashers are dog shit. They are like, one of the most useless units in Yuri's arsenal. They die by having a slight wind blow on them and they are basically throwing pebbles and they are pretty freaking expensive for having such shit stats.
lasher got same power as grizly so with mags it makes a rly good combo but vs mass prism it's not use but it got it's uses u just need to know when to use it that's all
Lashers have the same problem against Grizzlys that Grizzlys have against Rhinos but way worse. They are only slightly cheaper than Grizzly's (As Grizzly's are only slightly cheaper than Rhinos) build at roughly same speed, and have less stats in every category. Grizzly's already can barely compete with Rhinos. Lashers stand 0 chance.

if you steam red alert and comment on replays without the added stress of the game... at least do this thing ... learn the corect names of all units, be a pro not "how are they called"...

against yuri? yes. still allied and soviet are pretty balanced. depends on play style.
