@GYMCADDY You need to show objective information on each speaker you test. Show various graphs of the frequencies to understand how they sound instead of only using microphone.
But Sony did what JBL couldn't Sony made the new speaker more powerful but at the same time smaller ( The Sony v90d was nearly 6 feet tall ) The previous generation Sony Tower 10 was the Sony V90D, which was big and ugly The Sony Tower 10 has more power and bass than the V90 But JBL couldn't do that, which is why the Party Box Ultimate is bigger and uglier than the Party Box 1000.
@RobertV6 i know Sony appeared disappointing from 2000 to 2023 But Sony's ult family Sony has changed its voice signature and if you are a Sony user You will notice that the sound is not similar to previous generations and the signature has changed Sony ult series shows the beginning of change This Sony ult 7 surprised me I never expected it to beat the JBL boombox series But Sony ult 7 was able to defeat boombox 3 in all aspects But Sony ult 10 tower could not beat party box ultimate and has weaker bass than it. But it is superior in some ways, that is, the instruments and the singer's voice are brighter and the sound is wider The old Sony speakers have a very muffled sound, but the Tower 10 has a wide sound and promises that Sony is returning to its prime. The JBL PartyBox Ultimate is not a significant improvement over its predecessor, the PartyBox 1000. But the sound of Sony Tower 10 has made significant progress compared to the previous generation, in v90d
@@LukeR1M yeah, i also think the same. But some Russian channel has done a comparison with Partybox 1000 and he says it better than the 1000, that's why I'm curious to know if it's really that good..

sony sounds like a cheap radio with harsh mids, totally not natural. For a party everyone wants bass not mids. JBL light show is much better. The sony has nothing better to offer than that of a cheap unbranded one.
100%. Sony sounds awful with no recognizeable low end. Sounds exactly like a cheap kitchen radio with just mids and highs. Is that 12 inch woofer on Sony even working?!
I’m glad the Sony lacks bass but gives me an optical cable so I can hook up my tv to it when I’m having a party 😂. The definition of needing it but not having it comes in to this comparison. Having adjustable EQ’s and not using them vs not having it and complaining about not having it. You can adjust the ultimate and turn down the bass and raise the mids and highs. LAME that the bass on the sony is just punchy and doesn’t honor the music at all when it comes to low end performance. It’s like having no torque on a car just like a Honda loud but doesn’t move anything 😂
Sony has drier and punchier bass than JBL, which is really more attractive for rock music But JBL has a softer and deeper bass and is more attractive for pop, rap and hip-hop music But I heard the sound of Sony Tower 10 up close Sony's sound has changed compared to the previous generations, that the bass has become a little softer and special attention has been paid to the middle range. If you know Sony's signature and listen to Sony Tower 10, you will realize that Sony is changing its sound signature.

I have a pair of 710s that I purchased manufacturer refurbished for $460 each and they both arrived “new” with a 2 yr warranty. There really isn’t a better value that I feel is currently available. For the average home owner that wants a no BS stereo setup without the need for a sub, amplification, etc… it’s a no brainer. They image well enough in TWS for most and the EQ in the app lets you adjust the curve to your liking.
You're coping. This speaker is in many ways a DOWNGRADE over their previous model. They only made it louder (which makes sense cause it's AC powered instead of battery) without much improvement in sound quality. It's really a disappointment. I expected more from Sony.
Ummm hey gymcaddy why did you use the bassboost on the 710 on your first review you said you dont like using the bassboost on the 710 is it just a mistake or not?
They really do. I think previous Sony speakers were pretty good looking - like the Shake series 99 and 100D. This right here is a complete mess of a design.
Ultimate is louder and more powerful. But 2x 710 will give you stereo sound and that makes a big difference. For reference in terms of loudness: JBL PARTYBOX 310 AC-Mode: 111,4 dB(c) JBL PARTYBOX 710 118,3 dB(c) JBL Partybox Ultimate 124,8 dB(c)
In my opinion, if you want high-quality and stereo sound, it is better to buy two 710s. If you want really loud and deafening sound, the Sony Tower 10 is the most deafening thing you can buy. I do not recommend Party Box Ultimate Because Partybox Ultimate does not have the sound quality of two Partybox 710 And if loudness is important to you, it can't compete with the Sony Tower 10 Or buy two Party Box 710 or one Sony Tower 10
Haven't tested them myself, but when listening to this review, I feel that the Sony does have more detail, indeed. Especially in the mids / vocals. A lote more clear sound. But..... I own a JBL Partybox 1000 and man... this thing is a beast. Without Sub bass... you won't have a PARTY box. So yes... the Sony has more detail, which is good, but for what it's built for ('great' parties)... it doesn't hype me up to wave those arms and swing those hips. Sorry to say... but JBL still wins for me, because the essence of the speaker was made in a better way by JBL than Sony.
Oh beautiful GYMCADDY has said it in the review that He would go for ULT TOWER 10 Got the relief Told you all SONY will be the winner either today or tomorrow. Hail Sony.

Bro sony got u lol just put my ultimate against my buddys ult tower 10 jbl deff won on bass and total volume, be honest with ur reviews know sony hooked u up, jbl is still undisputed king of bluetooth speakers!!!!
Flossy Carter made a comparison between the two and Ultimate was louder than the Sony by around 1.5 dB. He also said Ultimate easily wins in term of bass.
Yet here Gymcaddy says the Ult Tower wins in terms of volume and keeps praising Sony🤔

You need to show objective information on each speaker you test. Show various graphs of the frequencies to understand how they sound instead of only using microphone.
Don't expect objective information out of him. He has always been a low-key JBL hater.
@ALEXR.-fg4hd your the sony hater jbl sucks period!!!!!!!
Sony is the biggest speaker but it has the weakest bass and the lowest volume...
But Sony did what JBL couldn't
Sony made the new speaker more powerful but at the same time smaller ( The Sony v90d was nearly 6 feet tall )
The previous generation Sony Tower 10 was the Sony V90D, which was big and ugly
The Sony Tower 10 has more power and bass than the V90
But JBL couldn't do that, which is why the Party Box Ultimate is bigger and uglier than the Party Box 1000.
Sony hasn't made a good speaker from about 20 years. Don't expect much from them.
@RobertV6 i know
Sony appeared disappointing from 2000 to 2023
But Sony's ult family
Sony has changed its voice signature and if you are a Sony user
You will notice that the sound is not similar to previous generations and the signature has changed
Sony ult series shows the beginning of change
This Sony ult 7 surprised me
I never expected it to beat the JBL boombox series
But Sony ult 7 was able to defeat boombox 3 in all aspects
But Sony ult 10 tower could not beat party box ultimate and has weaker bass than it.
But it is superior in some ways, that is, the instruments and the singer's voice are brighter and the sound is wider
The old Sony speakers have a very muffled sound, but the Tower 10 has a wide sound and promises that Sony is returning to its prime.
The JBL PartyBox Ultimate is not a significant improvement over its predecessor, the PartyBox 1000.
But the sound of Sony Tower 10 has made significant progress compared to the previous generation, in v90d
Jbl has a new announcement next month
and that would be?

@@JaguarJuanDavid till now i never think so😅
I dont hear any bass on sony... I think even jbl charge 5 is deeper
That song you're using to test them is garbage
JBL sounds muffled and the Sony sounds a little too bright. Pick your poison basically. Vocals definitely better in the Sony, bass better in the JBL. Is there a speaker out there with the vocals of the Sony and the bass of the JBL🤷🏻♂️
Just buy both and connect them to each other. Profit?
@@RobertVS89 genius

SONY❤
Is the 710 far off from the ultimate i was looking at buying a ultimate or getting a second 710 im wondering if the ultimate is that much cleaner and has thay much more bass or should i just stick with another 710 and wait for the ultimate 2
If you already have 710, you should be getting another 710. It's a no-brainer.
sony sounds like a cheap radio with harsh mids, totally not natural. For a party everyone wants bass not mids. JBL light show is much better. The sony has nothing better to offer than that of a cheap unbranded one.
No !!!! Your ignorant your wrong 😂🎉
You don't even know what you saying
yashvirmahdoo1587 ok 👍🏻 so tell us u r the most intelligent person in the world
100%. Sony sounds awful with no recognizeable low end. Sounds exactly like a cheap kitchen radio with just mids and highs. Is that 12 inch woofer on Sony even working?!
Only from the clown's peanut gallery do you speak from nobody asked any questions from the peanut gallery
I think ult 1 is for deep bass and ult 2 for upper bass and because sony doesn't go very deep ult 2 sounds better
My goodness, Sony's bass is terrible.
No
Sony has drier and punchier bass than JBL, which is really more attractive for rock music
But JBL has a softer and deeper bass and is more attractive for pop, rap and hip-hop music
But I heard the sound of Sony Tower 10 up close
Sony's sound has changed compared to the previous generations, that the bass has become a little softer and special attention has been paid to the middle range. If you know Sony's signature and listen to Sony Tower 10, you will realize that Sony is changing its sound signature.
Jbl PartyBox ultimate всегда высоте❤❤❤❤
Lmfao all the JBL fans just can’t except the fact that Sony is getting better of their speakers, bass is not everything my guy, don’t be such a child, everybody have their choices, talking about JBL’s advantage and Sony’s disadvantages from the previous video to here doesn’t make you become a superhero, I like the bass of the ultimate, I tried it in person, but the clarity on Sony wins over the JBL for me, it’s no longer a GTK-XB60 VS PartyBox 100 comparison…
If you hate it, just pass this video…there’s really no any other reason to comment the bad about Sony against those who’re interested to maybe get one, everybody have their choices, don’t make the comment section like a war, from 2016 to 2024 it’s still same, like you guys didn’t have a job or something??

Gymcaddy did you use sony with Ldac?
I have the ultimate / 710/310/encore. The encore is used the most the ultimate is the best 710 with a battery would be perfect
Wow sony crushed JBL
А какой лучше покупать какой мощный и качественный я думаю Jbl ultimate а вы что скажете
710 is all the way... Cheaper than 2 boxes... 710 is excelent quality to regular house and neighbors..
When it comes to value, there is no better option than 710. Especially two of them.
I wonder how this situation will be once a 720 is released,I hope they don't inflate the price like they did with the ultimate
@@haze1464 I'm hoping they will add mid range drivers to the 720. But that's probably unlikely.
They image well enough in TWS for most and the EQ in the app lets you adjust the curve to your liking.
i prefere 2 320
Sony really worked hard to make the ult tower 10 . It's evident from the sound
You're coping. This speaker is in many ways a DOWNGRADE over their previous model. They only made it louder (which makes sense cause it's AC powered instead of battery) without much improvement in sound quality.
It's really a disappointment. I expected more from Sony.
So how can you power these, excluding a generator. What battery packs are available which are up to the job?

По качеству получается jbl ultimate

Props to sony for hiring a new guy to design the speakers
Also there phones
Can these connect to each other?
Sony speakers look uglier than they did 20 years ago.
Ugly????? Fuk Just say that if you're poor you can't afford it
They really do. I think previous Sony speakers were pretty good looking - like the Shake series 99 and 100D.
This right here is a complete mess of a design.
Hello, are 2 partybox 710 or 1 ultimate louder and more powerful?
Ultimate is louder and more powerful. But 2x 710 will give you stereo sound and that makes a big difference.
For reference in terms of loudness:
JBL PARTYBOX 310
AC-Mode: 111,4 dB(c)
JBL PARTYBOX 710
118,3 dB(c)
JBL Partybox Ultimate
124,8 dB(c)
In my opinion, if you want high-quality and stereo sound, it is better to buy two 710s.
If you want really loud and deafening sound, the Sony Tower 10 is the most deafening thing you can buy.
I do not recommend Party Box Ultimate
Because Partybox Ultimate does not have the sound quality of two Partybox 710
And if loudness is important to you, it can't compete with the Sony Tower 10
Or buy two Party Box 710 or one Sony Tower 10
@@Kingroyalft So two partybox 710s are better than a single ultimate? is it proven?
There is a reason why they dont have xlr imputs, these type of speakers arent aimed at professional use
JBL TOP
Sony clear sound ❤

yes JBL for me also.
Only for the bass? Yeah, it has a deeper bass, but, did you hear what he said? Sound quality is a bit better on SONY. I understand that most people like deep bass, but I think the SONY sounds pretty good
@Gianni-tn2xg a party speaker needs to have booming bass and outside the ultimate sounds more balanced than Sony. I have an xv900 and an ultimate and I mostly use the xv900 inside for ambiance and the ultimate for big events.

I really think it also depends on the video. I personally, really like the Sony. In other videos I've watched, the bass is pretty present in the sony when using headphones, and the room you're in probably has a lot to do with it as well. With the JBL, it just doesn't matter. Lol that thing is gonna beat no matter where you put it. The bass is extreme in it. Almost hard to use it for any other genre than club, and dance music.
Nice video! 👏👏👏

That’d be soooo dope
sold my partybox 710 and got dual 18s pro sub and amp setup very happy ,with that,JBLs are overhyped, you cant really hear bass after 60percent volume,Also have Sony V43D ,it sounded way punchier than 710 at max volume,This Ult tower from Sony also looks and sounds promising tbh,as from the headphones i can hear ,JBLs are no match with this one, take richness, bass etc
Exactly make that jbl brand cry because jbl is worst it sucks teufel, meridian, soundboks 4,diamondboxx,devialet,sony,samsung,LG,bose.and so many brands sound much better than jbl when it comes to bass
Every standart mixer has some 6,3mm/Xlr kombi sockets where you could plug one or the other in
