The first lounge is actually quite big and the food looks great! The service in business class is so great, and the service you get from being a celebrity is even better, haha! The meals from both airlines were really good and looked delicious! This journey is a food journey, eat all the way, you are really happy, I am so envious! 👍😄👏
Dale, the trick most foreigners miss when eating Sri Lankan food is that you have to mix the dishes in every mouthful to get the best taste. For example if you eat only the milk rice it's too bland in comparison. If you eat only the Ambulthiyal it's too overpowering. If you eat only the dhal it's not as good. But when you mix all three it's superb. You got to do this every mouthful for the best meal experience. Same goes for most other Sri Lankan meals. Also if you are using your hands locals usually use a handwash or soap to thoroughly clean their hands before and after a meal. It's quite alarming to see foreigners use hands to eat without cleaning them properly. :) Ps. Looking forward to your next long stay in Sri Lanka. Greetings and cheers from Sri Lanka!
