It’s not often that one gets an opportunity to Tour a SUPERYACHT REFIT IN PROGRESS, but it’s even more special to get permission from the owner to film it for our awesome viewers! I’m sure some of you will immediately recognize this “reality TV star” Super Yacht called MY SEANNA. And if you have been enjoying watching BTS of a yacht charter Life, get ready to be blown away by this experience!
Join us on the guided Tour of Superyacht MY SEANNA while it's hauled out at Lauderdale Marine Center for a major REFIT. We get to see her massive props out of the water, all the exterior decks including the sun deck & the crow's nest, and the bow, also get to check out some of the interior projects: the command bridge, the VIP, the galley, the crew mess, the guest staterooms and a detailed tour of the impressive Engine Room. It's always amazing to see any ship in dry dock to really see how big these ships are. I was stationed on a Aircraft Carrier and spent a year and a half in the dry dock in New Port News,VA. If you think the propellers on this are big you should see the ones on a carrier.

I like the tours that you just do yourselves better. Whenever you do the real fancy yachts and you get a tour guide, I find it takes away from your style. The reason I watch this in the first place is that you two are relatable as hosts.

I remember how long it took to get our Landing Craft back upto working vessel from training wing vessel. Every 2 yrs we swapped one of the 3 working RCL landing craft with the 4th RCL as School training Wing boat. It had two 40ft containers designed as extra accommodation for those on any of the maritime courses in the Regt. The 6 crew stayed in the main accommodation. When the vessel returns to a working military vessel. Its been battered for 2 yrs from highly trained Officers Sgt Majors down to new potential seaman on there first rung of the trade ladder. The tank deck was in bits. I can imagine how much effort must go into a Superyacht refit, as a military one has to be of the highest standard also. I cant wait to see her in the water and your full walk round of her finished.

Last Winter, TH-cam channel Super Yacht Captain Vloged the work done for a ten year refit plus more. Each Vlog focused on a part of the process. Also Rico is a wonderful cameraman, focusing on all beautiful things!

The boat next to this one "One More Toy" was likely the one 2007 F1 World Driver's Champion Kimi Raikkonen rented for the 2006 Monaco Grand Prix when he was driving one of the fastest and least reliable cars team McLaren have ever built (his championship-winning Ferrari the year next was a bit more solid). His engine overheated and went boom behind a safety car at the easternmost end of the race circuit, but rather than walk all the way back to the pit facility at basically the other end of downtown Monaco he headed straight for One More Toy in the marina about 1/3 of the way and hopped into the hot tub for a beer. The boat was called out by name in the British F1 broadcast by the play by play guy, probably with (retired driver turned commentator) Martin Brundle next to him shaking his head thinking "goddamnit Kimi, why had I never though to do that...".
This is all assuming that yachts that large each have unique names of course, which they might not I has no clue. But if so you were right next to a hilarious bit of F1 history there in a dockyard in Ft. Lauderdale.

Hiya & WOW! Again... You two keep doing it... bringing us top of the range content & also top of the range video!!! What a fantastic boat, that pantry is bigger than my kitchen here in my home! The head almost the size of my bedroom! It's wonderful to be given such an intermate view of the whole setup, from keel to radio masts, from stem to stern! Your joy V at being allowed to ring the ships bell was a joy to behold, pure joy in fact nothing pretentious about you, Gino or the channel, it's why I've given up on all the others except Dennison. My only comment would be another radio mic for the chef engineer... Sorry I must be hungry too... Most of his comments were totally lost. Come on Monday... Come on Monday... Come... HeHeHe... Great outfit V, we never caught sight of Rico so can't comment on his attire, but I bet I know what his hat said??? Any yards like that near where you live? You should carry your own clean slip ons for walking in the interiors. In a yard situation you don’t know what is on the decks. So many things can puncture the skin on your feet. Wire strand cuttings, wire brush bristles.
