Great unboxing, I think the vehicles are the best part of this line! Hasbro will probably never do it, but I'll love to see more medium/big size vehicles in this line, as the Dragonfly, the Conquest or the Whale (just dreaming)
Good review video, glad the honesty regarding your opinion on the stickers. I appriciate honest reviews and you seemed quite content during the construction phase. Glad ur back!
I still need to pick one of these up. As if I don't have enough HISS tanks... Hahaha! Assembling vintage(-style) vehicles is so much fun, even simple ones like this.
I have one retro hiss 3 tank so far the hiss tank was the first vehicle that I had bought in the 80's so I have an affection for it I also have some of the older ones without the turrets and had to modify into laser hiss tanks
I have been getting a few of the retro toys. I like the ones I have. Obvious reasons ha ha. I have what would be considered the original HISS 3 and Rip It also. it's a good repro.
I have a few of the retro hiss in black. I might get s couple of these if they hit discount. I’ve been thinking of doing some repaints of hiss tanks in desert and forest camo
great video . one thing of note for the driver . the red hiss driver from the black Retro Hiss has a different construction the T bar on the red driver is the classic metal bar where the one on Rip-it is plastic and is prone to being brittle. the parts used for those drivers are new compared to the older 25th Drivers as they had a unsightly hip holster for a included pistol which really got in the way for seating them in the cockpit of the Hiss.
@HoodedCobraCommander788 I wonder if putting the stickers on in the areas that would be hard to reach areas would be easier to do before you install the tank treads to the HISS hull?
Nice unboxing Hoodie, I hate seeing that headlight sticker oversized. When i got mine a month or so ago the headlights were slightly too big to, so i took an exacto-knife to narrow it and fit. I'm sure if someone was to remove the treads just push that tab on the back and pull the treads down from the chassis (carefully of course) and it should come off as long as you swing the lip from the front down and out as you do. This technique IIRC also works on most of the sturdier vintages vintage Hiss's... some of course have their plastic too far degraded to accomplish that... BUT! the reason i bring this up is I'm thinking of swapping the HISS-III's muddied treads onto a normal Black 2019(2020?) Retro Hiss-I or... if i get bold enough.. one of my vintage beater hisses and give it some character. Something you may want to try out for some easy customizing/swapping.
813 = Tampa, FL. Home of your beloved ex-Pat, Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. 8 + 1 + 3 = 12. #12 = Tom Brady's jersey number. Cobra HISS III = 12 characters. Cobra HISS III released in 2021, same year Tom Brady won an NFL championship for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in Tampa, Florida -- the first time an NFL team has ever played and won the Super Bowl in their home city. [Cue the "X-Files" theme]
I like the retro vehicles....the figures....not so much. Since I have a modern o-ring Rip It figure...I placed him in the turret spot and took a vintage o-ring HISS Driver and put him in the driver spot.....BAMM!!!!!
It’s a great HISS but the front sticker I had to trim to fit. My only beef really is the figure. My example is horrible. Bent legs and a missing thumb on the right hand. If this is the modern figure style, Hasbro can keep it. Good review. 👍👍👍👍
Great review, Bryan - and I also agree that the driver should be in red and the blue works on the tank. BTW, I see you're a fan of classic X-Factor, too.
This is nice to see. Thank you. I have been thinking about these and this is helpful. The front sticker looks like it fills the whole space on the original 2000 H.I.S.S. III very tightly from photos, too. I wonder if that is the exact same sticker sheet 21 years later unchanged now? I wonder if there are master sheets for stickers that are kept around like a figure or vehicle mold would be. And if that's the same paint mask for the weathered tracks. Any comparisons with the 2000 H.I.S.S. III out there?
Is "Rip-It" a specialist, or is that what they are calling the HISS Drivers, these days? I thought that those 25th An. figures were squished all up in the Joe vehicles, is he different?
Putting together a new GI Joe toy felt like a model kit in a way. Those were the days.
I always liked putting vehicles together. Miss doing that.
Yo Joe! from Glasgow, Scotland 🏴
Two blues and a black hiss look awesome 788 813 and 831
Great unboxing, I think the vehicles are the best part of this line! Hasbro will probably never do it, but I'll love to see more medium/big size vehicles in this line, as the Dragonfly, the Conquest or the Whale (just dreaming)
I would love to see them reissue the cobra mamba helicopter
the mamba and the cobra condor were nice.
Real good to see you doing G.I. Joe vids again!
I like the dark tint on the cockpit.
I like that they improved the molds for stronger construction instead of making the same molds.
813 is around Tampa, Florida apparently. Anyhoots, nice assembly video!
Welcome back.You have been missed.
Hasbro should hire you as a Joe toy consultant
Now you are just spoiling us with all the content. Keep it up
I think it's hilarious how Walmarts are practically flooded with these, but the standard black ones were so relatively rare
Been way too long, so glad to hear you say that ending catch phrase!
Scissors man, even happened in the 80's and 90's tank is fine comrade
It's good to see you back and doing videos. TH-cam wasn't the same without you.
I just used your USS Flagg video for help on assembling my Flagg.
I really like this blue version. The original stickers would show up better & I wish it had the standard driver in red.
Picked a couple up on clearance today for 5 bucks a piece.
Great look at a newer product. What gi.joe fan out there doesn't like the HISS tank?? not many... they are beauty
Good review video, glad the honesty regarding your opinion on the stickers. I appriciate honest reviews and you seemed quite content during the construction phase. Glad ur back!
Glad you are back 🙌
great to see you uploading videos again🤘
Tampa, FL
Another great video! You always make these fun!👍
Welcome back! The Joe community hasn't been the same without you. Great review and looking forward to all your future content.
Love your channel HCC788 and have a happy holiday season
I still need to pick one of these up. As if I don't have enough HISS tanks... Hahaha! Assembling vintage(-style) vehicles is so much fun, even simple ones like this.
They took the fun outta the AWE tho.
The mad joe did. He finally bought Gi Joe Retro!
Welcome back sir missed you
I have one retro hiss 3 tank so far the hiss tank was the first vehicle that I had bought in the 80's so I have an affection for it I also have some of the older ones without the turrets and had to modify into laser hiss tanks
Wondering when we’ll see a new Night Raven or Rattler.
Night Raven all the way! If we see anything like that...otherwise I'll take another Cobra Rattler.
813 is FL, Tampa I think
I'm the same. I like my Hiss Tanks black.
I have been getting a few of the retro toys. I like the ones I have. Obvious reasons ha ha. I have what would be considered the original HISS 3 and Rip It also. it's a good repro.
Hoodie!! Really nice seeing you again showing love to the Joes! Definitely one of the highlights to TH-cam! Yo Joe!!!
Good stuff, that was a fun watch, keep them coming HCC788
I have a few of the retro hiss in black. I might get s couple of these if they hit discount. I’ve been thinking of doing some repaints of hiss tanks in desert and forest camo
My brother did that with a couple of 12" versions of r2 d2 lol
Yet another great video sir! Always a pleasure seeing you talk about new or old Gi. Joe stuff.
I've started using tweezers for the stickers. My fingers are just too big to do it easily.
This was awesome content! Thanks for sharing it.

HoodedCobraCommnader788-top
The area code is tampa florida. That makes sense.
Tampa, Florida
Great!! I just wish it wasn't stickers instead would rather have them already ingraved onto vehicle
@HoodedCobraCommander788 I wonder if putting the stickers on in the areas that would be hard to reach areas would be easier to do before you install the tank treads to the HISS hull?
Why does the HISS mark 3 look just like the HISS mark 1?
Considering that you can't see the driver, toss the figure stand in the cockpit, and use the figure for the gunner.
Nice unboxing Hoodie, I hate seeing that headlight sticker oversized. When i got mine a month or so ago the headlights were slightly too big to, so i took an exacto-knife to narrow it and fit. How's the plastic? A little dry brushing on this would go a long way. It's like putting black stickers on the Rattler white would be better.
Awesome! Great to see you back! I was able to pick up this at retail, never saw the original HISS though.
Great review! Thinking about getting one of these. Can you review the retro cobra Fang.
I have one, and can recommend getting it. The blades are thicker, and so should be more resistant to sagging over time.
@@zerocooler7 How does it compare to the 25th version? Just curious 🤔

The front sticker on the original 2000 release of the H.I.S.S. III was also too big to fit in the nose of the tank.
Is the retro Joe Lineup 1:18 scale?
I like the retro vehicles....the figures....not so much. Since I have a modern o-ring Rip It figure...I placed him in the turret spot and took a vintage o-ring HISS Driver and put him in the driver spot.....BAMM!!!!!
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
813 is Tampa, Florida.
I'm wondering, what is the relationship between the HISS tank and Tampa?...🤔🤔🤔😁
It was hard to see a few of the original stickers on the vintage hiss tank. It looks good even though it’s modern and blue.
In Marvel G.I. Joe #19 it was said the Hiss Tanks were blue.
I have 2 too! lolz :o) love your videos !
I haven’t really unboxed any of the new stuff. Glad you’re doing it for me!
Cobra ferret😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
I'm glad ur back bro. Idk if you been asked, are you backing the Sky Stryker? I wish I could but kids and x Mas lol
What about the 6 inch Classified Line or you don't care for it?
Do different tanks come with different numbers? This one has 813 but I see and one with 827 when I google images of it. Maybe someone's custom?
It’s a great HISS but the front sticker I had to trim to fit. My only beef really is the figure. My example is horrible. Bent legs and a missing thumb on the right hand. If this is the modern figure style, Hasbro can keep it. Good review. 👍👍👍👍
I have a modern o-ring Rip It...i put him in the turret spot w/ a vintage HISS Driver in the driver spot.
Classic low-effort Hasbro.
Great review, Bryan - and I also agree that the driver should be in red and the blue works on the tank.

Rip-it My FAVORITE ENERGY DRINK
Meanwhile, in Brazil, we're having amazing 1/6 GI Joe from Estrela (called Falcon here). Shame on you, Hasbro!
Is "Rip-It" a specialist, or is that what they are calling the HISS Drivers, these days?
I thought that those 25th An. figures were squished all up in the Joe vehicles, is he different?
813 is I Florida area code. 3 counties use it
😎👍
Yeah. Not a big Fan of the Blue Hiss, but I do like the Blue Cobra Driver colors. Not sure on his name of "Rip It" though...
813 = tampa, Fl., the driver's last name maybe Brady.. lol🤣
Technically to create a new die cut for the stickers, it would cost money, but since the first try was poor anyway they should have made a new one.
Driver: Code Name Ribbit?
Lol dude should see my cobra tat
Tampa Florida. 813
Oh come on... I've your last intro
If the sticker doesn't fit, it ain't legit.
I got this and of all Cobra Hiss tanks, I really didn't like the color on this one.
C'mon hurry up
HCC-788 Opening your toys so you don't have to 👍😂
Nice vídeo, but I'm glad I skipped that :)
