Hello sir, for the d7 visa part, you talked about getting a Portuguese bank account before entering Portugal, how do we do that

Hi There! Thanks for your comment. Some banks may allow you to send paperwork by mail to get the bank account opened, but the most common is to hire a third party company to open it for you. I personally have used Bordr.com (not an affiliate or anything) to open my bank account.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment. Yes, you need to give evidence of knowing basic Portuguese when applying to Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
But you do NOT need that for temporary residency (which would be the D7, D8, D2, D3 visas, etc.)
