Fantastic! I first flew my Cherokee wing + Hiway trike in 1981 and did a 10 mile X-C in Wales. Subsequently at the BMAA Inaugural Meet at Wellesbourne. There at the birth of triking! What a privilege!
That was the longest taxi I ever witnessed in history and then tev up and a stop. Looks fun great video you are unnerving letting go of the control bar on take off 😮

Nice 🙂👍. I have a Sub 70 with just the single surface wing. I think they are the, safest easiest most fun powered flying you can do. for every hour I get flying regular hang-gliders I get two in the air while "Hang-Waiting" for the wind to be between this and this and at the particular direction for your hill or ridge. I love the normal hang-gliding but the waiting kills me. With the Sub 70 any calm day, morning or evening off you go. Easy take off, easy flying and easy landing, they are the biggest secret in relaxing personal aviation. Love the look of yours but the simplicity of the single surface I'll keep 😎👍
Nice video on a nice trike, I really like this combination, unfortunately not available over here in GER. Maybe just one small note. My teacher always tells me, to never ever start the engine before unlocking the control bar. He explains like follows. In case you didn't do a proper preflight check or the throttle gets stuck at full power, you might get airborne, but due to stall position of the bar, you're definitely going to crash that thing. Makes sense to me. Maybe complicated with manual starter, better to release the fixation before ignition though. At least when starting the engine alone. Anyways, nice video and keep on going! Always happy landings. I hope to get my license very soon... watching to all this nice content...

Looked like some texture in the air. Have you tried thermaling or engine off soaring? I have a Northwing ATF arriving next week and hope to be able to thermal engine off eventually. Enjoyed your video👍
We don’t hide our engineering with fairings etc. I will put our trike next to a bare PeaBee any day. There is nothing ‘agricultural’ about our trike. Have you even had a close up look/comparison?
Seems you're blinded by the 'smoke and mirrors' on the Flylight PeaBee and Adam trikes. The only reason theirs looks good is all the fairings, screens and other panels that cover the agricultual by comparison trike that they build. I am up for a side by side comparison any day.
So is the "Sub70" the metalwork/engine -n- controls that you sit in as you operate & steer the wing & wing components? I'm not good w/ the plane parts so my words -n- phrases are lacking but I do like what I'm seeing in this video. This setup seems like it flies w/ a little more agility than some "Wing's" that are hooked to these tripods ? Of course I know nothing/nada about this except I'd like to do this in lieu of trying to be a real pilot. I'm too old to start to become a pilot but this I could actually do w/ a little help/practice. Thanks for the video. peace
I like this minitrike because unlike the others, it has a must lean forward and the pilot is also seated further forward, the whole architecture of the trike makes it lower than a normal trike, you can see that to stay under the wing you have to lean, and I don't know I like the idea of a trike that is lower and closer to the glider, I have flown a minitrke slip for many years. what is the name of the company that makes this minitrke and the data of weight, engine, dimensions, etc.? although I imagine it will be difficult to see it in Italy!
We supply the trikes to suit the customer leg length, we have differen engines that are available, Vittorazi, eos150, Air conception Nitro. Trike weight with 26.5 kg wing comes in at 62kg . The company is Microlite Aviation based in the UK, website: www.microliteaviation.com
@@Microliteaviation I don't fly and I'm 70 years old and I doubt I ever will but looks like great fun, in what situation would you have to throw your emergency powerchute, if engine goes out anyway that you could thermal down safely? Like I say I don't fly but I'm just very curious God bless and stay safe
If you're going to install one, use a BRS. I have an amphibian ultralight, so a chute is pretty much a waste...unless you have a structural wing failure.
@@titicrb9058 it all depends on the wing loading, the wings we use are the Aeros Adam and the Avian Rio 2 they allow for a max all up pilot weight of 100 kgs. Distance is dependant on conditions, the fuel burn is around 4.5 ltr per hour, the cruise range is around 48 mph, the tank can carry 18ltr dependant on what country you are flying in and fuel carry restrictions , hope this helps.
Unfortunately due to the weight of the aircraft 2 stroke is the best option, weight verses power output, but there is a trade off with noise, but when cruising speeds are reached the noise is hardly noticeable

The double skinned Avian wings are really a delight to fly, the Puma and the RIO2 thermal really well.

How was the camera fixed to the wing??There seems to be some kind flexible fixing.
The camera was attached to the washout rod.
Camera is solidly attached to wing. Wing flexing causes the motion.
How fast were you flying? and what are the takeoff and landing speeds? Looks like it sat down pretty slow.

6g’s positive , 3G,s negative, the wing will stay with the aircraft if you throw the reserve
