@@odynith9356 To an extent, most companies do the same but still overcharge us because they believe we can afford it. Even the inflation we experience is artificial because its said we can afford it.
Temu is blowing up now because China is suffering from a massive deflation crisis. Hundreds of millions of unreported COVID deaths in China shrunk their market demand suddenly and drastically causing prices to plummet and supplies to skyrocket. They need to offload their products somewhere, why not overseas while everyone else is suffering from inflation.
You think Covid killed these poor people 🤣😂🤣😂🥲😩. Omg please stop .
Things don't costs as much as we're told.
Money is fake
Agree, most of them in us overpriced from 5 to 10 times fold
Couldn't agree more, My husband and I opened a crystal shop and realized how much the other shops over charged, but we understand everyone has to charge what they feel will keep their business running, if your rent is high, you have employees etc... but yes overall many companies do over charge...

Exactly
I had about 10 Temoo commercials play while watching this
I understand it’s hard for many people to resist the cheap prices but on top of the horrendous treatment of workers there I don’t like shopping online. Waiting for items in the mail only to find out clothes doesn’t fit and all that not so fun stuff. Besides that our streets are filled with blight and I want to support retail fronts so they can stay open. So for me there is no Temu, no Amazon or walmart ..etc. I don’t support those companies ruining local businesses and turning our cities into ghost towns.
I was just about to buy shoes from shein and was thinking how bad shein is but i didin’t want to spend 100+$ on shoes from normal stores. I’ll stop from buying from there and go to trifht stores instead
Now I feel like a millionaire, enjoying fashion made by the suffering of many
what if temu products are also really crappy?
it feels fishy when you buy something too good to be true
Not to mention the insane environmental cost too
Who cares.. i don't see you complaining when rich dudes use their private jets. But god forbids i buy cheap things
@@bigfoad If it was for me, private jets would be illegal. However, if they are so rich to the point they can own many private jets, it is sometimes because we buy their stuff. We all need to collaborate if we want to fight climate change. I'm not saying we need to give up everything we own, but whenever we see something interesting, let's stop and wonder "Do I really need this?"
@@bigfoadthis is the issue, irrational comparisons. look up documentaries of fast fashion, the average "person" buys 67 clothes/year, and wears them just twice. clothes waste ends up clogging ecosystems in the poor countries its shipped off to. private jet use is nothing compared to millions of people throwing away so much clothing each year. it's nothing compared to total passenger jet emissions either so it's a really stupid comparison
Why people always look for cheapest product? Ultimately companies cut the salary of employees . why people Don't understand this?
Islam on Palestine: 😠🤬😡

Thanks for the info. Have not purchased anything from these companies but I was thinking about getting some woodworking clamps. Now that is off.
Bruh, i got TEMU advertisment before watching this video 💀
BRO ME TOO
Same
Boycotting is a first step. The second step is to demand that our representatives stop this.
No one talks about this, thank you 🙏
Your thumbnails are so good I don't even need to watch the video anymore
Huh
The only reason Shein and Temu have a customer base is all the people in North America who can't afford these things on their wages. It's all corporate greed running it.
We never got rid of slavery. We just moved it out of sight and out of mind.
I have to buy from Temu because inflation here in California is fast becoming unaffordable for me to do daily stuff. I feel like I’m working just to pay taxes these days. Our government just print money whenever they feel like it, and I don’t have that capability! I don’t have the luxury of choice!
I'd get out of CA, asap.
Need to move
No excuse
Go back to China
If you are alive, you certainly do have the luxury of choice.
I'm so glad I was never con in by Temu, rather have a clean conscience instead of using slave labour just for a unrealistic bargain 😢😢 Lord have mercy on the slaves😢😢
Temu is going to ruin local businesses, they should hire locally
Like how Amazon did? I fact, all of the Alibaba and Temu stuff can be found on Amazon but at a more expensive price. Why should these "businesses" get to peacefully buy from China but when we normal people do, we are shamed for it?
@@KingDayDayDay00 Because it is patriotic to buy slave made goods from China if it makes Jeff Bezos richer. /s
Amazon and Walmart did that already, Chinese companies plan to ruin Amazon and Walmart. Then Americans are 100% reliant on everything from China. We already get most our stuff from there
@@KingDayDayDay00 I fail to understand your point? Everything found on Amazon that is bought from Temu or wherever is sold via Amazon through a 3rd party, what is your point exactly?
@@Tuesday_In_Augusthe doesn’t know what he’s talking about lol
Its not like amazon is any good either. Most products are drop-shipped products that you find for half price in Temu. The only difference is there are more middlemen in US.

Temu is just collecting personal information
Why should we care what they know about and average person's personal data. The US government is doing the same thing!
@@davidmoore5004it has advertising value.
Why don't amazon do the same?
Doesn’t matter if you uninstall. It’s on the cloud and it will still be on phone. There were always temu browsing windows open on a cell phone that didn’t have the app installed.
Americans dont know that they are using slave labor. You saying americans disown the thought of slavery when it comes to their country but say its ok for china is crazy
No talk about the heavy metals/lead/radioactive materials found in the items? Strange.
Because its a lie
Is there anything that’s not made in sweatshops?
Hey Jake, slavery still exists in American prisons, can you do a documentary about it.
yes!i hope he does a documentary on that!
Nobody cares
How, then do you receive the same brand name as Amazon or Walmart. Odd that.
Temu is being subsidized by our own U.S. government, so they are not losing any money.
You know, I've never bought anything from Temu but I didnt know it was this bad. How could someone be so cruel?
What's the best alternative to temu?
Local store
@trpimirkarlovic838 the local shops ain't cheap I want a website that's cheap like temu but not temu or shein thanks though
you guys don’t understand. Temu is getting the same supply from those companies that up charge you from product that is really cheaply made
Thanks for this Jake 🙏🙏
Fun fact: The reason why Temu products are so cheap is because their products don’t cost very much.
