Very nice setup!! I'm gonna have to try these out. I Currently use nilight brand but have gotten some condensation recently. I'd also like the option to change colors. Great job Tyler
Thank you. I have been very happy with them to this day. No complaints. The on-demand switch between colors is a huge plus. And I like how I now have side (ditch) lights and front lights at the same time.
Great video! I'll probably end up getting a set of these. I am curious though, what are the exact width and height dimensions? I need lights that will fit in a 3 inch square
Thanks! These are probably your best bet to fit a 3” square. If you click my link in the description and go to their website, they have the exact dimensions for everything in the pictures for the DDF. They are a 3”x3” square.
I love your rig ! I have a question for these lenses, do you think you can power up yellow and white at the same time ? Because I don't want to use the harness, I have already a switch panel and the downside I can run all the lights that are wired on with a single button and I don't want to burn them 😅
Thanks! You should be able to splice the two wires together and power them at the same time. The white and yellow are separate LED chips so I don’t think there would be an issue. Unless there is too much draw and over heats long term, but I personally don’t think you’d have any issues.
@@engineeringoverland And I receive them and can help now 😁 If the yellow wire and white wire are connected at the same time, it's the yellow led who works
I'd love to try that out. The new Striker series is definitely a sweet setup. Not sure where I'd mount a setup like that on my Jeep though. Michigan branches love to drag the roof.
Wife bought this for me. installed prior to taking a trip, but one did not turn on. The one that functions does not put out yellow. Just white light regardless of switch mode. Reached out to COLIGHT on email, phone, and their chat program with no reply or assistance to be seen. Its been 3 weeks now since installment and I am not sure if the company customer service or contact is legit....
I believe that’s how they advertise them. I don’t really think about them in the sense of high and low beam. For me the amber/yellow is good for some things and the white is good for others. Not really a bright and dim setting.
I’m still very happy with them. Probably even more now that I’ve swapped in LED headlights. The whites match up perfectly for an ultra bright combo. But the option for yellow is definitely still my favorite. I’ll also note that my jeep sits outside 24/7 and they still haven’t had any issues.
@@engineeringoverland thumbnail is great. Was hoping for like a quick 6-8min install and then onto a bunch of nice senerios in night and oncoming shots. Besides that, how'd you like the lens so far? Did you switch back?
Thanks for this awesome video Tyler! Nice work👍we enjoy it so much and so glad you enjoy the lights!😍
Thanks for checking out the video! I could not be happier with the lights!

@@engineeringoverland Thanks for your response mate 😃I just ordered 2 sets of 2 like you, for $35. That's so cheap
@@anthony_benier How? I'm seeing them on the website using the link in the description for $80 a pair.

Great video man! Imna order 6 for my pickup truck

downside of the glass lens is the tend to not survive rock hits etc, the plastic at least will survive
Your hat looks sick. Where'd ya get it? 😂 It looks like it has a print of ocean waves
Thanks! I've had it for so many years. Pretty sure it was like wish.com or something lol.
Good morning and merry Christmas
Hey can you use these duels as ditch lights?? On a runner??
Yup! They would be perfect for ditch lights.
@@engineeringoverland just ordered a set!
Sweet! I still love mine. Perfect timing with all the holiday sales.
@@engineeringoverland I got 16$ off lol
@engineeringoverland Dude i hust realized these things are coming from China....
How long did it take for you to get them??
Anxious 😅
We need a test on the bar with the spotlights if i see one i will buy one

@@engineeringoverland maybe the smallest one could mount on your bumper. Love you bumper btw did you make it?
@@jordanmercredi3740 I believe I saw one of his comments saying that it's a D Till Fabworks hidden winch bumper.

Not good! If you are on social media, I would recommend reaching out through their Instagram. They are usually pretty active on there.
Amber is considered a “low beam” and the white is a “high beam”?

@@engineeringoverland it appears as the Amber is a lower angle and the white has a higher angle to shoot further down the road/ trail?
Yes that is true.
How's the quality? Does it still work?
Quality is great. I still use these lights to this day!
@engineeringoverland thanks for answering my questions. Planning to buy one for my motorcycle and my truck.
No problem! Be sure to use my link and code EngineeringOverland to save some money while you’re at it!

The video is 8 months old. Are you still as happy with them now as when you installed them?

👏👏👏👏👏
I have a little flashlight which is brighter than this "LED Lights!!! Absolute ridiculous. My advice: take a candle!!! This would be more effective!!!
😂
Great content, but so long and 😴
Thanks for watching! Sorry to disappoint. I appreciate the feedback. I’m one to appreciate the details before the end product.
