I don’t need to hide my friends activity. I want Facebook to stop showing me posts from random people and groups all over the platform.
Now they have it so groups I’m not apart of but are public and fb thinks I might like it are showing up. Any tips to get rid of those?

Thanks. How do I stop posts that I put in public groups from showing on my wall? and feed if possible.
They don't show on your wall specifically where others can see them, but if they are public groups, they are in the feed for all members to see.

Odd I still see un-followed groups in my group feed?? Do you know how to remove a group from my group feed without having to leave the group? What you just went through does not work for me atm.
The same thing is happening to me
leave the group.
What’s happening now is groups I am a member of but have had unfollowed. And even friends and family that I am friends with, but have unfollowed. Their posts are still showing all over my Facebook feed as well as their stories. I have all notifications for groups set off. This is either a huge bug or they just don’t care and are forcing you to view what they want. I’ve reported it for over a month and a half. Mute stories does not work. It’s extremely frustrating.
