- Learn how to see posts from more friends on Facebook by modifying your news feed. You can change your news feed to see only recent posts and you can snooze users to see a more diverse set of Facebook posts. Over time, these changes can reset your news feed and alter the algorithm to alter which posts you see most often.

They're my friends...why am i not allowed to see their posts? Just show me all my friends! and I hate that my FB on my phone constantly refreshes even though i still want to scroll down

I am on the Facebook app on my phone and I do not see anything that says recent. The screen doesn't look like the one that you have in your video. I looked all over and in settings and elsewhere and I don't see anything that says recent.
Honestly, I think Facebook may have removed the feature. They're trying to keep users entrenched in their algorithm.
I don’t see anything that my friends post anymore. It’s all stories weather and I know they don’t block me because I talk to them every day. That’s how I know they’re posting things.

I believe they already are to some extent but there isn't a way to increase it as far as I know other than making sure you're interacting with your friends more than the groups and businesses.

Is there any ACTUAL help to get my friends and family to see my posts on Facebook? I comment and react on people's posts all the time. But why are my posts never seen by them?
I think the key is getting them to interact with your posts more. Personal photos usually do well.
This facebook friend who posted from morning to night continuously was really annoying. I was able to unfollow him. But I'm thinking about snoozing another facebook friend because he posts too much too, but not like this guy. I'm retired and I have better things to do than post on facebook all day long. I only post 2 or 3 times a month and that's it. I was aware of these features but you help me to understand them better.

My feed is literally all ads and group pages, it almost made me want to stop using it cause I thought everyone stopped posting these days.

Used to be options to see posts from custom lists of friends - is that option gone now?
As far as I can tell. You can post to a specific group only but can't just view posts from that group.

Was trying to find help with Facebook so I don’t just see a few friends, you said on my phone to go to recent at the top of the page there is no such thing as recent there is no button on any page on the top that let you do that.
Search all through my Facebook even for keywords, used to design websites, if there was a setting or a button it’s not there anymore.
On your phone, go to menu first. Then see more as they hide it. Then you will see recently. 👍

I think Facebook removed the recent feature unfortunately. It's best to go to individual profiles now but, the algorithm is out of hand.

I think that is one of the main problems. There doesn't seem to be a News Feed preferences. It's all up to the algorithm.
So I just hopped back on Facebook after taking a several year hiatus but on my Android mobile Facebook and no I do not have Facebook lite it does NOT show a "recent" tab as a scroll and I'm seeing like the same three people's posts and it's quite annoying.

Hi, my problem is that no more posts from friends/groups come on anymore and it now just says...'No More Posts'..below it, it says..'Add more friends to see more posts in your Feed"..then the blue tab saying ..Find friends....So I've never had a problem with this before and constantly have friends posts and groups I belong to show up and now nothing. I just did get just 1 single post from a friend come last night, very odd, and then the..No More Posts..add more friends..balony. I tried to fix it on my own by looking at their help center, online, ect . I'm not really good or experienced on computers..Any suggestions, thx!
Hmm, sounds like either it was a temporary technical error or maybe something else. Can you see your friends post when you go to their specific pages?
It doesn't say "most recent" anywhere on my FB page....It says "Recent ad activity" and that's it....
Yeah, as far as I know, Facebook removed the feature making it harder to alter the algorithm. Your best bet is to individually go to Facebook profiles of people whose posts you'd like to see and start liking and commenting on their posts.
When you look up one's name, and if they have privatised their friend list, you can still find his friends by going to "(name) photos" and it shows photos from one's friends, therefore showing his friends. How to prevent that?
You have to untag yourself from those photos, I believe.

Your best bet is to post things that you think they will give a thumbs up to or comment on but, honestly, if you've been in the Facebook cave for a while. It may be hard to get out but make sure you're interacting with your new Facebook friends as much as possible to get into their feed. Facebook, honestly, has lost control of their algorithm.

When you go to the "most resent" screen, Facebook still only shows post from a selection of friends.
I wouldn't be interested to test this out. You definitely get a better variety but I wouldn't be surprised if the filtering algorithm is still at work.

I'm on iPhone, in the UK, latest app, and I don't have a 'recent' option. Just All, Favourites, Friends, Groups, etc
The UK gov usually lets tech giants take the piss over here.

@Anson Alexander It's because they want to be more like Tiktok I think. Which is annoying asf. I get on facebook to connect with people I know and see events that are happening around me and stuff. Not to see "suggested for you" posts and ads that quite frankly are out of touch with what I like anyway. It's honestly really annoying getting on there anymore.

Blah, blah, blah. I want to ADD friends back to my Facebook, not make post go away for 30 days. This was a big waste of time for me and not at all helpful.
