@@Zmcbxnonly way to really make it any more trap would be adding words in my eyes. The deep bass as well and drum beats like you say definitely make it more then just jazz. Now they have their own tiny desk and it’s definitely good! But this is definitely a mix of gospel, jazz, and trap. Love it
Check out "Ghost Note "and "Snarky Puppy". They're not trap but they do jazz fusion well and are just as talented as these dudes!! Music like this REALLY gets me going!
Whoever y’all’s live engineer is , is awesome. I love to hear the bass and kick pop and punch. Love it. A lot of live music lacks the bottom end. This is great keep up the good work.

@@TheOfficialD-RobTheDon that's fine... but to me when you pull it all together it's funk music at it's heart. it's similar to New Orleans Brass Band/2nd Line Music. We say it's jazz because that's the element it came out of. But when they play it and you see the response from people dancing in the streets, it's really funk music. The banks will even tell you that when they play for 2nd lines they "play it funky" as opposed to "playing it straight" i.e. for white audiences.
