I am a retired airline pilot. I have trained many a lady pilot and there are many with whom i have flown. They are second to none. We have good and bad pilots of both gender. My advise is if you do not have a passion for sailing then better don't go. Joining only for good money is not advisable because within a short time you will be disillusioned. Remember sailing needs a lot of physical activities. Difficult but NOT impossible. Go for it if you still have the dream.

Gender discrimination and misogynist people are all around especially if you are leaving them behind but if we have the passion for this field truly then no obstacle can block the path. And talking about physical hardwork... Most things are being taught during the training days. To become a deck is it is compulsory to do IMU CET exam or gp training..?
U can do both no need of imu cet for gp rating
But if possible go for dns
GP rating and deck cadet course both are different but yes for DNS sponsorship programs it is compulsory to appear for IMUCET
