Today I am going to show you how to become a 3D vtuber for FREE! This is a complete guide to my Vtuber quick hacks series on all the steps you can take to literally start vtubing today! We will use vroid studio, slobs, and the hana app to get perfect lip sync for your model!

How To Setup SLOBS or OBS for your Vtuber Model
1. Add a new game capture source on Streamlabs or OBS
2. Select under Mode to Capture A Specific Window
3. Select under Window the VseeFace application
4. Check the box to allow transparency
and there you go now you can start vtubing!

Is there anyway of creating assets from images rather then using blendr?
This video is old so you probably cant answer my question but my eyes are kinda squinty so wjen I make a character with big eyes they glitch and close
*It's so freaking hard to make this V-Tuber model when its NOT ANIME. ALL I WANT IS A VTUBER THAT HAS A SMILEY FACE ON IT!!!!*
Then draw the vtuber yourself in gimp or Photoshop if you want to do that.
Also that would look pretty cursed to see a simple smiley face on an anime body

I'm reaching my 30s soon and I've lost contact with a lot of friends over the years so I feel like streaming/gaming/chatting online is a great social outlet for me. How do you add accessories in VroidStudio?
Hi Thirsty! Do you mean like pasting accessories in? Sometimes you can do that within the skin texture layer or sometimes you can make them out of hair. Maybe I can make a video on it one day, but if you want to be able to just paste in the accessory without making it, it will require using unity!
I could totally try making some eyes, do you just need tips on what makes a good eye texture or do you want to see some ideas/inspo for eye textures?

Do you something at the end of your name for a Vtuber? Cuz I always see people having names with “Ch” at the end.
@@GOSTY__ That is something specific to Hololive or big vtuber corporations. You dont see indie vtubers do that typically
Man I've been struggling to make a male vtuber model so I kinda started to lose motivation to make one and this video actually restored my motivation because it really doesn't seem that complicated

Thanks for this. Super helpful and easily explained way to get a nice free 3D vtuber set up. Agree on Argama Witch, she's helpful and has some great tutorials plus assets as well. Gonna have to take a day later this week and make something in Vroid and try that instead of just a PNG for abit. Only issue I have with Vroid is lack of facial hair >_< lol. Thanks again :)

I really want to be a Vtuber which wouldn’t be very difficult for me because I know how to draw and using programs. But the only problem is- that I don’t have a computer or laptop. Still enjoying ur videos tho :D They are great

Thank you soooo much. I got mine working. Also in OBS there is a little eye ball next to your items such as cameras and screen captures to hide them and what not. not sure if that's what you were wondering about. they will still technically be there, they will just be invisible.

for vseeface, how do you get accurate face tracking with the webcam? Is there another program needed for better eye tracking? Because everytime i turn up the eye sensitivity my pupils just shoot up into the head which is terrifying
Better tracking is done with an iphone :)

Hey, just wanted to say that you are goated for making this video. This is exactly what I was looking for, though I'm kind of sad that perfect sink requires a $15 tool and an iPhone. Sure, I can just use a webcam if I'm lazy / cheap, but it's going to look bad, and if I use meow face on an Android, it'll look better but still require me to use Hanna tool. But you put everything into one concise video, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much.

Excellent guide. Took less than thirty minutes honestly, minus the time it took to customize the VRoid Avatar. Honestly was hoping that I would be able to find a helmet so I didn't have to do any of the unity stuff. Actually still plan on doing the helmet and cooling vest, but it should be nice to have a face under it.
