Corn can be done back to back with he right nutrients added back to the soil. Think about the farms that do corn mazes, although they make the money in admission and side activities. Also, I think the path between the silage silo and the cow barn doesn't have a gate at all. The cows could mosey up your driveway in a more realistic role-play 😅

You should really give the cows bedding, gives extra milk (according to in game testing), despite it not being mentioned in the game help and the cows already being at 100% without straw bedding. Also provides manure in addtion to slurry and they will produce the same amount of slurry. Straw consumption is hardly anything, maybe 100 lites per game 24hrs cycle per cow. I figured this out based off testing the game on a base map directly. Not sure about this map specifically. I aim to test it one day, but currently Diablo IV is taking up too much of my free time.

As for the corn, I don't know if it has to do with climate, but here in Sweden, a farmer grows corn in the same field year after year near where I live.

Buy a bigger tanker for the milk and have the cows water trough plumbed in, it'll be £500-600 and the water should be free,, it will save a lot of time going back and forth to the pond.... I think you should turn field 41 back to grass. It’s way to small to be arable and you‘ll get a nice double application for the grass cut. You can turn another grassfield arable instead :)

I am not sure why the actual selling of milk as practiced isn't done. In the US, as far as I understand, each step of sale (farmer to coop, coop to reseller, reseller to producer for example) can cut the milk by 30% water.

The cover crop is kind of pointless. You are adding one more step. Could have just bought fertilizer to sow in a crop then spread slurry. If you had a different seeder then the cover crop would be needed.

You either need to plum water or get a bigger tanker. Watching you have to do the water with that small tank is painful 😂

Here in the states , we usually do a corn soybean rotation. At least alot of them do. As the corn pulls so much out of the soil.
