If been waiting months for this episode …. Oxygen doing a fantastic job and as for you daggerwin, your the best person to watch with a nice glass of scotch in the evenings I haven’t missed a episode since march last year, well done mate
Really enjoy your content and decided to watch your play through again. Don't worry about the withered field and bales falling over, this makes it even more true to life. I can remember at fifteen years old and just left school on my first job as a farm hand being shoved on an old Fordson Major tractor complete with a chain harrow, and wound up putting one of the pulling bars around the back axle. Next day, after I'd fixed said chain harow, the farmer said "Now then lad, get back in the tractor and do it properly this time". Never argued about it or nothing. Most farmers are hard buggers when the chips are down and normally just get on with it.😊
Yes! So stoked to see this let's play start. I just can't get into the standard Giants maps, playing or watching. Can't wait for you to wrap up the other map so we can see more of this let's play! Keep up the great work Daggerwin!
When you get a bigger grain trailer get a moving floor type. The current tipping trailer is about the height limit for a lifting tipper in the silo door.
Wow, looks fantastic. Can’t wait to play on a UK map. I would suggest getting the Rolland flat rigid trailer as it can auto load and looks more UK spec. Also the Rolland bull trailer might suit a bit better. Great work, keep it up 👍
I thought exactly this as dagger was reversing around the corner to access the silo, it gave me flashbacks to clarkson hitting the side of the barn lol
T'oday the map released on console. Finally and what a map to start with. Amazing and pure realism. Finally my adventure on fs 22 has started on ps5. Love your content Daggerwin, kind regard from a longtime follower :) thanks to you I turned into farming simulator :)
Just watching atm I agree with yah keep the Krampe Kipper dump trailer as be ideal for mucking out and moving loads of rock if keeping the rocks on. It be nice to see you get a grain trailer with tarpaulin cover.
Just FYI daggerwin, the John Deere has 300 hp so it is pretty much the same hp as the Massey, so there is no excuse for you to just use the Massey for the big jobs lol
Bloody hell this first episode and the map tour has me so excited! I love the detail and realism of this map. I love the bigger starting machinery and fields also, as much as I have enjoyed the other series I’ve personally found it a little limited by funds. The bigger fields and harvest on this map are so much more realistic and appropriate. I would love for this to become the main series as I prefer everything about it although I suspect it will be more time per episode for you as everything is on a far more realistic scale. I thoroughly prefer a series of timelapses harvesting a large field like this than the fannying about doing a bunch of little bits. Thank you very much for the awesome content! :)
Fantastic episode! I'd LOVE to see 3 episodes a week of this! It's our closet view of the map and getting a feel for it until the map cones out. For me I'm fairly new to the farming sim series so I've learnt a lot from you! Being able to sew your approach around things gives me a great idea and customise to my personal preference so yes... 3 episodes please! Haha

Excited for this as Calmsden looks so far to be my next map. I just hope you make more financially viable decisions this time, like not getting into grapes or olives...the grape processing center and the oil factory only make it mildly comparable with the ROI of any other crop, but its still at the bottom. But if you play 2 decades, its surely worth it, lol.

I've came back to this map as Court Farms is a bit of a disappointment due to the really restrictive gate and yard size, despite the size of the fields! On my playthrough, I really enjoyed your vehicle selection you used on The Valley, The Old Farm, so this is what I'm using....that Heston Baler is perfect for the larger fields, as is the Merlo :)
So Glad you decided to use this map for a lets play rather than role play, Cant wait to finally get our hands on this stunning map and sink a crazy amount of hours into it!

A great video on a mind blowing map, just wow, thank you so much OxygenDavid for making such a brilliant British map, and thank you Daggerwin for making a great video, can't wait for the map to be released, won't be getting much sleep once it does, and I think it would be brilliant if you released a video on Saturday Sunday and Wednesday, keep up the great work.
Daggerwin on a map by Oxygendavid is always good. You mentioned you would like to have pigs. Remember, that we do not have the Seasons mod by Realismus Modding, hence the pigs are born one-by-one, and you will not get a worthy economy. The situation improves if you buy a load of weaners and sell them 6 months later. Each month you sell a load of 6 months old porkers at the abattoir and bring back a load of weaners from the auction site. This approach gives a far more realistic play with what we have.
If you are looking for a good subsoiler, I really recommend the Meyer Sauzahn 5000 from the modhub. It's a cultivator, but with the deep cultivation tines, it replaces the plow. Unless you wan't to subsoil, cultivate and seed in one go, then the ingame 4 meter Kuhn with a subsoiler in front is hard to beat. And regarding balers, as you might know, 4D Modding has released their fantastic Hesston baler (and other stuff) already. Would look fantastic on this map.
Hey Daggerwin, I'm pretty sure you can open up the pedals (If it is like the g29) and remove the block of rubber that makes the brakes so stiff. There is still some resistance once this is done but it's way better!
You are indeed an in-cab driving master. For me, I can see myself in 5 minutes of trying to reverse in, getting a conveyor setup for that silo. Its beautiful, but not designed for any large trailers, so you might have to get conveyors yourself.
The old g27 pedals will work but i would recommended opening your g920 pedals and removing the rubber stop. There are heaps of videos on how to do and if you ever need to do a warranty job just put it back it. Its easy and takes no more than 5 min
Absolutely love this map. Been enjoying it myself. Can’t wait for oxygen david to fix some things like some crops have no sell points and I placed a small wind turbine and noticed after a couple days it wasn’t paying me

With your pedals, it is quite straightforward to disassemble your brake pedal, and remove a bale shaped piece of rubber. This makes the brake pedal much softer.
Hey Dagger, I’m already falling in love with this map! Love the way it looks and the way you’re playing the game on it. On my playthrough of Calmsden Farm an new John Deere 8R can up for sale in the used section and even with getting the 450 hp version is was about 500 bucks more expensive than selling one of the 6Rs.
loved the map when you made the tour video and i'm glad you're playing it. also, i like the claas trionso much. would be perhaps good to buy another big harvester as the time goes by since you already have 2 big fields and harvesting them simultaneously would make it a nice operation.
Well, the new story could start from dagwin moving to Australia and by some turn of events has acquired a huge amount of money and is going to establish a large farm with partnership with Jenkins farms
Add the Additional Field Info mod - it will show you exact land and field size in field info and Farmland HUD. Starting fields here appear to be much larger than the land you have after 70 episodes in France. :)
Would a bigger trailer even fit in these narrow roads? Not to mention reversing it into the silo... I think you should keep the small one for working inside the farm.
Consider using courseplay. It can bale and supports bale wrapping and collection (even with the arcusin stock bale loaders). With the large but irregular fields, CP would be great as it can do your headlands as well. Still rather limited on the direction of the rows, but vastly better than stock AI.
While I would miss streams I think I would miss competitive or cooperative multi-player with chainsaw more. I think if you did one day doing that it would be amazing. But I really enjoy pretty much everything you do so do what makes you happy.
13:35 If you open up the pedals you can remove a rubber piece that is inside the spring. That rubber piece is very hard and is the reason for the pedal being so hard to push down.
3:02 - I like the touch of detail he added to the map view... Rather than looking at a virtual map, it looks like a paper map sitting on a table, with a pencil next to it.
4D modding has converted their Hesston baler that you used in Survival Roleplay. It would be great on this map, as you could use their bale accumulator behind the baler.
There is a rubber piece in the g29 brake pedal that increases the force required. You can remove it if you take the pedals apart and then it is easily pushed all the way in.
Good decision on Survival Roleplay. There will be other maps and you might have regretted going for the first one released regardless of the obvious masterpiece it is. Keep up the great work.

I’m very engulfed into the HB map so personally I’d still really like to see you continue that one for a good amount of time longer
There is No map like this one. Just brilliant
This is a really stunning map actually cannot wait for this to come out
I'm looking forward to you working with slightly larger machines in this let's play, should be interesting!
You make it look so easy! 😅 My rows aren't straight and I'd never get the grain in that silo! So much fun to watch! Thanks!
if its a square angled field try looking at the minimap coordinates for straighter rows 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees
There is a rubber piece in the g29 brake pedal that increases the force required. You can remove it if you take the pedals apart and then it is easily pushed all the way in.
great video amazing start after my birthday!
keep the good work up. :)
Good decision on Survival Roleplay. There will be other maps and you might have regretted going for the first one released regardless of the obvious masterpiece it is. Keep up the great work.
