Great job. I would add Shaughnessy (if you can afford to live there of course) and any surrounding of Grandville Island. North Shore (anywhere close to Capilano Mall) is not a bad option. But, if you really wanna have peace and settle down try ambleside.
Grandview woodland should be rated as #1. It is sooooo much more than just an Italian coffee shop hang out. With the Brittania centre and the Library and all the fruit and vegetable markets within a 5blk walking distance. It supports pedestrian movement and alternative transportation from just the Car worshipping neighbourhoods of the other communities. The healthy mix of co-op housing and market housing and the yoga centres, ice rink. aquatic centre and parks, plus the martial arts studios. All within walking distance. As well, the incredible amount of schools for raising children. It's actual a community that is studied by urban planners because of it's diverse mix of people and income levels. It is the only neighbourhood in North America where McDonald's went BANKRUPT!! STARBUCKS TOO!! Because of the market community. KITSLANO on the other hand is a sterile, one class corporate neighbourhood that is designed for the car.
