This was really good with some outstanding and haunting vocals. The bass was a standout here and really structured the song well. Cool video as well, and this was definitely mixed very well, in my opinion. Everything was clean, and you could hear each member so well.

Blackbriar Just get better and better. Zora's voice sends shivers down my spine.

    Great pick 😉
Happily, Floriography is their first single from their third full length album to come.
They're at the end of the recording process (it only lacks Zora's vocals, but it'll be done very soon)... This will probably take a few months for nuclear blast to release it... But I hope that meanwhile, they will grant us with some music videos for some other singles...
    I can't wait for that 😊
    Thanks for the reaction!

Always here for Blackbriar. I don't think you've done _My_ _Soul's_ _Demise_ yet - I think you would enjoy it (if you haven't heard it off-channel). It's about the old practice of sin-eating. 2025 has started much better this year for us, though that's admittedly a low bar to clear - I was amused my daughter described it to friends as "incident free" when someone had chucked a rock at our windscreen a few days earlier and then one of the houses across the road caught fire while her and her brother were clearing glass out of the footwell, but that is how it felt! Happy new year, and hope you get well soon!

When this premiered I was very transfixed on the video and song from the first note, Blackbriar did it again with these very beautiful songs.

The premise seems to fit one of the many scientific 'moods of the time' : Every thing has, at it's core, an essence which defines the rest of the being.

I enjoyed that, the bass was kicking and of course Zora's voice was stellar. I can't quite pick out the meaning yet, musically solid if not outstanding. Overall good song to listen to.. maybe a few more and I will understand better 😉- ♥and

I don't listen to a female voice that often, but it was very nice😊

This was a good song to listen to when you are doing something else. Not particularly profound, but pleasing to the ear.

I liked this one a lot. I'm going to have to listen to it again to really soak in the lyrics and melody.

Very neat song. But -- floriography? Wouldn't you run out of flowers and have to stop talking? Was there a flower for the word dentist, or cinnamon roll? Madness. ••• Saw! FIST! Tree!

Spilanthes Oleracea, or perhaps Syzygium aromaticum (the natural source of eugenol)
      - - son of a Botany Prof, and dentist/engineer by trade.
btw, it is estimated there are somewhere between 250,000 to 400,000 species of flowering plants.
The average person may cultivate 30,000 to 40,000 words in there vocabulary in their lifetime.
... the plant kingdom would seem to be up to the task.

@@randalljones4370 I try to resist squelching things I don't get. So, If you say it's a thing, then okay. (Shrug). I'm somebody that regularly talks to wind and rocks, so who am I to say what's too Willy-Wonka? ••• PEACES!!!

I saw them live a few weeks ago together with some other bands. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. They played well, Zora sings absolutely flawless live, but the sound was horrible. Particularly the vocals were way to loud. With Zora‘s high pitched voice it was hurting my ears, almost unbearable. Well, it’s not their fault I guess…
After their gig she and the bassist stood right behind me to watch the rest of the concert. She’s so small 😂 when I went getting a beer I almost ran over her😂. I was to shy to ask for a pic, unfortunately…

Do you find that it can be tough for bands to keep the momentum of writing banging songs? Like I enjoyed this, but I can see what you mean when it comes to older songs.

@ I'm listening to this song on your channel for the third time, and my opinion hasn't changed 😁 yes, compared to some old songs, this song loses.
We are really looking forward to your assessment of the latest releases of Avatar ("tower" piano version) and Epica ("Arcana" music video or live video), both releases are excellent 👌 in my opinion 😁
