@ It would have been cool, could have definitely occurred when they were still active. Similar case to the idea of Old Gens being at Eastchester between 2016-2022. However, both are moot points as of now

Goodmorning Mr. Techno . That was a awesome video from you sir and yep it looks like R-211 Subway Cars are taking over On the A and C fleet sir the R-46's are be retired slowly and R-179 are getting some rest also sir .Alot of the R-46's really needs to be retired do the age sir. Many of them are 50 years old already and due to them being 75 fleet long the can't use them on BMT Eastern Divisions JMZ and L lines.
Thank you! The R211As are definitely taking over. It's becoming increasingly difficult to spot an R46 on both lines, especially on the (C). A lot of the R179s are out for maintenance. It is true that the R46s can't traverse the entire system. However, the fact that we have four-car and five-car sets makes it hard to have fleet flexibility. That's why the 60-foot SMEEs (i.e. R32s) were so useful, because they could be arranged in any amount of trains (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cars), and could easily navigate the system
Reminds me of what occurred with the Montague Street Tunnel (albeit to a lesser extent), where the repairs made specific car classes unable to pass through them. The 63rd Street issue is much worse though
There should be around 25 R179 cars left at Jamaica (3015-19, 3045-49, 3268-72, 3313-17, 3323-27), since 3238-42, 3248-52 went back to Pitkin, and 3288-92 is now at Coney Island for maintenance. The 8 car set (3061-3058, 3118-3121), although it runs on Queens Boulevard, is still assigned to East New York. That set is currently out of service for maintenance.
On this fleet set 4405-4414 enter service as number 36. I believe 4335-4339 will be attached with 4415-4419 has the second mix of 4300s and 4400s. But I could be wrong.
It was rumored the B and D trains are receiving R211s, I know the the R68s are not getting retired as yet due to not being around for 50 years yet. Retire the R46s idc . In my opinion if B and D get 211s give all N,Q and Ws the 68s. Keep the 160s on the R
@@TheRailLeaguer I think it's still possible for them to have different assignments. I believe the B already has far more 68as than 68s, compared to the D.
I cannot keep up with all this info as much as I try I give it to you and all else who contribute the only thing I catch are rare sign ups and glitches on buses and trains😂..I wish I can post here I saw another rare one on the 211 A car 4133

I appreciate the feedback. I definitely forgot to talk about the water main reroutes. I spoke about the (A) to 21st. I heard about the (E) to Bedford Park but I wasn't sure when it happened, so I left it out
The R211Ts are still in service. Usually, they use one consist at a time, while the other is used as a schoolcar. It's harder to spot them now because they usually blend in with the other R211As assigned to the (C).
The MTA plans to keep 35 R32 cars?? Well I guess most are going to be worktrains. Strange that the R38s never got that treatment despite being almost the same cars as the R32s.
