I'm sarawakian. Ofc that also make me Malays too. mostly I speak Malay and regional English (Mostly northern Irish style). And I don't even speak Ibanese fluently lol..

Brunei English accent is very similar to Indonesia English and Philippine English accents. Very different from Malaysia English and Singapore English accents.

if it was me i would say my mother tongue is malay and speak daily in malay but on social media i rather speak in english since malay words are kinda harsh if i tried to say what’s on my mind
