I have been in the casino business for almost 20 years… one night it was slow in the main pit when I was dealing so we talked the floor boss into letting the three “poker players” go home so we could go play poker in the poker room… very first hand I get 66 against another dealers AA, we make it to a flop and it’s A-6-7 rainbow, turn is a 6 and River was a blank so I’m holding quads and my buddy is holding Ace full… he is trying to give me this speech about how he feels bad because we got off work early to play and stuff, meanwhile I haven’t raised him one time because of that exact reason so he makes a big bet and I call instead of raise still… I got the Monte Carlo board for quad 6’s which paid like $180 extra or something like that so i gave him half of it lol
Most epic I've ever been involved in I was holding Ace King off under the gun. I raised to four blinds. Folds to the button who min raises me. I call and the flop is Ace King King rainbow. Check check Turn card is to seven. Well I'm convinced I'm trapping. I check again and call an eight blind bet from the button.
Funny thing is I'm behind and about 50% sure of it. Yep button has pocket aces but you know I got one out right? Yeah, the river was a king

I had qurds vs quads 10s vs QQ
I had quad 3s beaten by quad 4S. I flopped quad 3s he turned quad 4s.
Then there was when I called a min raise with 6 7 of Clubs in the small blind and the Flop was 8 9 10 clubs. UTG bets 6 blinds cut off calls I call. Clean run out but UTG was holding 4/5 of clubs and cut off was holding Ace Jack of clubs.
Money maker was unbelievably lucky. That's why he never won it again and isn't in the poker scene these days
every main event winner is incredibly lucky lol. no winner after 1998 won it again, and how many of them do you still see around?
