      Kinda easy fold for the action and position that each player is in during that hand.. Kevin can never to expect to bluff in that spot at such a high rate for it to be profitable. I think it's a pretty clear fold and good fold by Brad during the moment and his thought process was on point during that entire hand.

    Simple observation that I have noticed, likewise you have probably noticed. Getting brave in the start then having to fight back is a common theme in your videos. I am not one to tell a pro how to play, but maybe reverse the cycle where it’s a tighter range from the start allowing you to play with your profits.
    I understand you study charts a lot more than I have, i am making an observation of what I find to be a common theme. BTW I liked and shared!

    I got to tell you, I went through a really rough patch about 10 years ago. I had a string of losses that were like boat over boat of things like that.
    I stepped away from the game for a while. For me it was a few years, for you maybe it’s a few weeks or a few months. But I would take a short break to regather yourself, it’s worked great for me.
    Now I don’t play near as much as you Brad but I play a decent amount. I’ve literally had maybe 10 losing sessions in the last 10 years, that’s not to say I don’t have a lot of break evens or small wins. But I’ve had my fair share of big wins too.
    Maybe think about it.

  • @GoldChump
    @GoldChump 26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    No doubt you know much about poker, but I always think how none of that applies to opponents that either bluff, throw crap on the walls, or don't play poker by the numbers. When determining odds preflop that system is, in my opinion, not very good. Mathematically it makes sense an A, K is stronger than a 3,2 preflop, but all it takes is a 3 or a 2 on flop and out the window that goes. I think post flop odds are more in line. And then the players who are good and play by the numbers got a good sense of how the Bradley dollars flow... There is something missing in your game that can not be determined by "mathematics" or "odds". It is almost like you need to develop several "calibration" adjustments depending on circumstances. But, if it makes sense these calibrations can not be based on these odds, math, or percentages. Poker does not always make sense so neither does this post I made :)

    At 18:30 & 22:00, wouldn’t it make more sense to get a value bet of say 30/40% pot?
    I’m a newer player and that tends to work well for me at live 1/2 - I understand this is a completely different stage.

    • @manwithrandomquestions3764
      @manwithrandomquestions3764 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on what kind of hands you’re targeting. 22:00 A weaker A or two pair will snap call 40% pot and therefore will call a higher bet too so you want to bet for most value.
      18:30 weaker straights same logic.
      When you make nutted hands and depending on the board and read, you should often look to bet big to make the most out of hitting your hand

    22:42 yeah, my family did go to Paris. Yet, instead of bandits, I just had to go to my folks place and take care of dogs and cat's and the house for a couple of weeks.

    I know I really shouldn't call here... I didn't sit down at this table to fold ... I call anyway ... Ok, I'm stuck, maybe we can make a comeback... I wonder what that line nets at this point?

    31,143rd!😊
    My son is 33 but I clearly remember the feelings associated with new fatherhood. Being financially responsible for others, working two jobs,(one of which...in a card room),and degenerate gambling.
    The first year I won nearly every single time...be it poker, dice, even sports. I was f'ing king of the world. I couldn't believe it.Then something turned . It wasn't pretty ..that feeling in the pit of your stomach.
    Heading home, then stopping at a ATM returning and playing badly. Not that any of you folks can relate I'm sure
    😉

      @@user-ld3si9iy6s The most likely Ax bluff would be Ahxh given that hand would turn the flush draw... except they can't have Ahxh because Brad has the Ah. If Brad didn't have the Ah I would argue it was a good call, especially if Brad had the Ad unblucking all of the backdoor flush draws that might bluff the flop. Without that you'd have to argue that Brad is exploiting a player who's overbluffing regardless of their draws.
