I play at the Lodge every few months and love the Club. It is a great place to play for people who love the game but don't have the study time or bankroll to acquire the necessary skills to move up in stakes. Thanks for your videos - I learn so much every time I watch.

My son is 33 but I clearly remember the feelings associated with new fatherhood. Being financially responsible for others, working two jobs,(one of which...in a card room),and degenerate gambling.
The first year I won nearly every single time...be it poker, dice, even sports. I was f'ing king of the world. I couldn't believe it.Then something turned . It wasn't pretty ..that feeling in the pit of your stomach.

Brad, both games, esp. the must move, seem like really tough 5-10 lineups. You have opponents making appropriate big river bluffs, laydowns & even 4b folds preflop.

Online poker coming back legally in 46 states is great for the poker industry. When a lot of sites were running 20 years ago, it helped spark a big boom. Companies can take more risks with guarantees, they can sponsor high stakes cash game television shows again, and the game will grow.

The AQ hand that lost to AK…there are few if any bluffs on this board. No value hands worse than yours take this line either. It’s clear that frustration playbad is a big reason you’re in this downswing.

My god...some of these boards and run outs look so similar to my recent measly 1/3 games I've been playing...on a downswimg too - very frustrating but it happens..
At 18:30 & 22:00, wouldn’t it make more sense to get a value bet of say 30/40% pot?
I’m a newer player and that tends to work well for me at live 1/2 - I understand this is a completely different stage.

Simple observation that I have noticed, likewise you have probably noticed. Getting brave in the start then having to fight back is a common theme in your videos. I am not one to tell a pro how to play, but maybe reverse the cycle where it’s a tighter range from the start allowing you to play with your profits.
I understand you study charts a lot more than I have, i am making an observation of what I find to be a common theme. BTW I liked and shared!

It seems like you always think about folding as failing. You should try reviewing old games, looking for really great folds made by you or your opponent. Start with that impressive K high flush hand.
Maybe if you can get yourself excited about the possibility of making a legendary lay down, it’ll help motivate you to trust your instincts and actually feel good about getting away from bad spots like that ace queen.
