If anyone is having trouble having lost the staff,generally it doesn’t appear when reloading save. What worked for me was leaving the area walking to the other side of the map THEN reloading last save, it should pop up by where the dog bowl is.
This really helped me out whenever I ended up losing one of the trophies required for Day 4! Thank you!

Crowbar; It you’ve lost the crowbar you can find them in multiple spots depending on which level your on (they still spawn no matter what act your in) There is one on the top floor of the water house there is one in a glass container in the museum (you have to break the glass) There might be other places like i know there is one in mr petersons house from day 1 but i’m not sure where. Sorry
The Shovel; If you’ve lost the shovel it’s not important unless your on the water house level. The shovel originally spawns on the roof but if you dropped it and it fell through the world then really quickly load last save. if you’ve lost it to long ago to load a save then load a save anyway and then go to mr petersons house from day one go to the room on the left with a safe in it and the shovel will be in the safe. as of now that is the only fix the developers have put out for the dissipating shovel.
Scissors; there are lots of scissors across the map they spawn in the treehouse across from me Peterson house from day one and they respawn every time you enter a new day. There is one in the basement/bottom floor of the lake house
There is one in a glass display case in the museum and there might be others that i am not aware of but if you lost the scissors than you should not worry cause they are pretty much everywhere.

@@mrpuggylegend1210 (Sorry about the late reply) If you’ve found it and lost it i’m not sure what to tell you but if you haven’t found it yet then you need to grab the wrench (the nebehor is wearing it on his belt) then on the second floor open the bathroom door with the wrench and the book will be to your right on top of the toilet hope this helps
I lost the fire extinguisher in the mayor level and I can’t find it anywhere, do you know where it would be? It’s not in the original spot where I found it

I'm in the same situation as you right now. I've looked for the last place I gave up the item, I've tried save and load, and I've looked for where the shovel was originally, but I can't find it anywhere.
Now all I have to do is use the shovel to unlock the safe, but I can't find the shovel, so I can't progress through the game;;

- **Losing the spade/shovel** - (Steam) Fixed; (Rest of platforms) A patch is on the way to address this issue. Until then, the only fast way to fix this would be to restart the game. Before doing so, please ensure that it has not been restored to its original place.
Apparently we have to wait for a patch to be applied
I grabbed the fish head early in game not knowing I needed it and dropped it somewhere but now I can’t find it

Never mind I managed to clip through the ceiling using a trick i saw in the 3 minute speedrun

I lost the ice bag with the key somewhere and it won’t spawn
I lost the red valve wheel in act two. Or I did not actually lose it. It just "magically" disappeared when I tried to break the window at the second floor after climbing the latter outside the bakery. So I tried the load last save. No success. I tried to look into the small room to the right of the bakery where I originally picked it up. No success. I have no idea where to get this red valve wheel now. The game itself seems cool, but it is so annoying that they can't fix those small things.

@@Satopias : The problem is that you have no guarantee that it will not happen again ... at that point of the game ... or at another point. That really sucks. You don't even have a chapter select. The game itself is promising, but too many bugs for me to use any more time on it.

I cant get the weight to respawn so i can get the last piece from the wardrobe needed to complete the picture puzzle. Can i use something else besides the weight or am i screwed??
the bakery frozen key still doesnt respawn (i loaded last save after ive melted the key but i threw the fire extinguisher into the fire and it is now stuck in the fire so i restarted from last save...but it didnt respawn)

So I only used the key on the 3rd lock and not the first and got caught but the key isn't respawning anyway to get it back I've tried reloading can't get to the basement now because the 1 lock isn't open

I had dropped the fish head and then sprinted passed it accidentally hitting it and it went fucken flying so now it’s somewhere lost is the garden outside the museum

At the mayors house the staff you get from digging up the dirt either went under the map or flew off and now my game crashes every 2 minutes and I still can’t get the item

I'm guessing the game is fairly broken and there's really no answer to this - but is there a place the flower book in night 4 can be found if you've been caught? It's not going back to the toilet seat and I'm pretty sure it's gone for good

@@LibrarianOnUr6 I'm sorry, I didn't and I haven't heard about anyone solving the issue yet... :/ I've heard about a ton of lost items messing up people's games and I'm hoping post-holiday season they maybe get a patch out to fix it. Had to watch the rest of the game in a video.

I lost the fish head from the museum- grabbed it the first time I was in the museum the night before the Waterhouse, brought it w me to the Waterhouse bc I didn’t know where it was supposed to go, dropped it in the Waterhouse and now I’m back in the museum and it hasn’t spawned back. How do I get it back?

I've got an issue where I've put some book with a plant logo in the fire and I couldn't pick it back up do I've reset and it's no longer respawning. I've reset the game and reloaded a last save and nothings working.

I'm in same boat. Picked up camera went back to base and saw it in the box, so I put it down as i didn't know its value at the time, and now it is gone. I've reloaded so many times and even went back to day 1 house where I first found it, and it is never there nor in my base in the box it should be in. On day 3 now, and I keep checking back, but still no joy. Very frustrating 😢

I gave the cat the fish in the bakery and instead of it dropping the button like it should, the button disappeared, I loaded last save, exited and reopened the game, and yet the button won’t appear
did you have to restart? try getting caught by the chef
this is a restart event unless you got a save i tried many different ways cane progress with out it.

Did you end up finding it and if so, where? I’ve got everything else done in the museum and totally forgot about the car and handle. Now I’m literally needing the lad head (that should’ve been first) from the car and the handle is nowhere to be found 😭

@@I_Im_Over_There lol for real! I just bit the bullet and restarted! Doesn’t take long to get back to this spot and didn’t run into any other game breaking bugs the rest of the way so I’d just recommend starting a new save!
