Thanks everyone for your messages and support. This video is about perseverance Because of the conditions and the challenge I made for myself. It is not stubbornness but Perseverance in this video a strong goal to realize in a short period of time so 30 minutes. The challenge still there at the same place but the goal was to keep trying hard as I could during this timing. Thanks for your support I go back from a hard 2 years of fall physically and mentally. Now I'm ready to come back.

This is the footage that I love to see. A lot of people, when they think of parkour or freerunning, just see the perfect videos, because that's what the traceurs put up because it's the best of what they had. This is the footage that I like to see, because it not only helps show that if you never give up,you'll get it eventually, and it also shows that even the good freerunners have to practice, and that it's not all easy the first go. This is truly freerunning! Keep it up, Leroux!

Most people see Parkour videos on youtube and think that's all it is, someone magically has the ability to throw crazy tricks with ease all day. If they see a video like this they are confused or think its nothing special at all. Those of us who actually practice and train and progress know this is what its really about. Pushing your physical AND mental abilities just a little further each day. Awesome video!

This was great, and I'm glad to see that even pros like you still go through the same grind with new things. I have a video(Nov-Dec 2012) similar to this but I was struggling with a tac near the entrance of Tempest. Took me an hour and Idk how many attempts but I got it on video and pretty much on lock now. Perseverance is a priceless quality for Tracures and Freerunners.

It's nice to see your progression. Most videos just focus on nailing the trick and making it look effortless. Little do they know how much blood sweat and tears goes into it. I also like to put my progression of mastering a move in my videos, it's what parkour is all about!! Keep it up!!

If you swung back and forth a couple times would you get it then? If yes, wouldn't it make more sense to train that a couple times to get a feel for the successful movement before going back to attempt what you tried here?

I don't think the idea was to practice certain segments of the movement, but rather just the entire movement all in one go. That way he can focus on the mental aspect rather than the movement, which is what is stated in the description.

It's more of a mental barrier, not a physical one. His first clip was near perfect until he clipped his feet. He's perfectly capable, it's just getting over that blockage in your head.

I also commented on Take Flight's "how to avoid injuries in Parkour" article about the same thing.
Saying stop, or that is it for today, is very different from saying "I give up."
In most cases the obstacle/movement will still be available later, so sometimes rest is all it takes.
During the past year I was on hiatus from Parkour & intense physical training, now I am back. As I will never give up doing Parkour or training but I may have to stop for a time, from time to time.
