- Welcome to my knitting podcast in English 🤎!
I'm coming to you from the Netherlands so excuse my Dutchy English. I enjoy all the inspiration in the worldwide knitting community so much. I would love to share my 'handwerk perikelen' (also known as crafty adventures) with you.

Thanks for being here!
Liefs,
Sarah 🧶
When you are happy and have heart jumping moments, we all have a good time.
What a funny coincidence! Today while the music was playing the thought crossed my mind, I wonder how Sarah decides what to play. And then you immediately answered. I always enjoy your episodes.
I don't think I've ever seen the pinks brown black combo,. I love it !
Another lovely episode, Sarah, you are so talented. I’ve always wondered how you choose your music; I always thought you must be a music lover to choose such lovely, soothing music, which always suits your podcast perfectly.
A rabbit making week sounds so exciting. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about making rabbits since you knitted your niece that “heart-jumping” blue rabbit.
Thank you for all your hard work 💕💕
Love the Little cotton Rabbits!! I have made 3 boys and one girl for my grandkids, they are the best!
It was very interesting to see how you edit your episodes. I never realized how difficult it is and I thank you for all you do. It was a funny coincidence that you talked about mistakes today because last night I was working on my Cozy Comfort Blanket and suddenly realized I had dropped a stitch 4 rows down. I tried to drop down to fix it but with garter stitch it was too messy. I ended up ripping it all out and being very aggravated. Who said knitting is relaxing? Enjoyed you so much today ❤
Thank you again Sarah. I didn’t appreciate just how much work goes into preparing an episode.
Goodness gracious me,Sarah..."a growling belly" and " screaming project bag" ! What a noisy household you have! 🤭😉I have 3 screaming project bags but I refuse to attend until they calm down a bit.😉Happy weekend to you & yours.🙏❤️👋🐨🌏xx
Thank you for sharing your procedure for choosing the music for your videos. I really enjoy your selections! Thank you alsoo for sharing with us your daily vlogs. I look forward to watching each day. I am one of your members, so I get to enjoy the Friday vlog, as well. You encouraged me to begin a granny square project. I used to make them in the 70's when I was in college. It will be a blast from the past.! Looking forward to everything tomorrow.
Funny thing, Sarah, I had to vacuum my couch (talk about a shedding dog!) and thinking of you vacuuming made it so much easier to start that unpleasant chore! Thank you for the inspiration 😁
Wow you inspire me everytime I watch you....Enjoy your fond memories of your caravan see you tomorrow....
I think it is flamingo pink!! 🦩 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩
🌱 thanks again for a lovely visit...i am even bidding a fond farewell to your caravan with wishes for happy memories to the new owners ! ✨It is still on my bucket list to spend a night in a caravan , and yours was so beautifully customised with the soft furnishings reflecting your handwerk skills 🎨 So interesting also to be given an insight into the video production side 🎶🧩💖
I don't know how you have time for any knitting with all that editing you do! Talking of music tastes, there was a slow acoustic song you were using quite often a few months ago that for some reason made me cry every time I heard it. You often used it at the end of your episodes when you were showing clips of Instagram photos, and I had to start turning the sound off before that bit just so I could make it to the end of the video! (We lost a lovely little old knitting relative last year, and the song made me think of her). Lovely song, but 😭!
Your second bag is going to be so nice in the darker colours. Both bags are lovely. I would call that colour, Salmon Pink. I noticed your intro music was different the other day, and I thought oh no, I love your intro music, it suits you so well somehow. I’m glad it was just a wee mistake. 🤎🤎🤎
Yes agree…would it be zalm rozig in Dutch? ❤
Hello Sarah. Another inspiring podcast. Can you mention the name of the headband you are wearing please?
Thank You Sarah... Your Leith Cardigan is Gorgeous 😍 Dear Bobbi Is Moulting (English word ) 🐕 ❤
Your bag is beautiful. I think you could call that pink "salmon pink' in English.
I have just started a crotchet project a bikini top and skirt for my granddaughter. No pattern just a picture. Wish me luck 😅
YES let's make rabbits
Can I have the link to the granny square bag pattern?
She is shedding her winter coat. Shed has several meanings in English that mean to get rid of something...including fur, skin, pounds, ideas, clothes, etc...
It’s also something you can keep your lawnmower/garden tools in. 😅 English can be a very confusing language. 😊
Also Called Moulting in England 🐕🤗
🤔perhaps a better way to deal with A dog shedding her winter coat is to brush her day daily
💚🧶💚
Your dog is shedding 😊
How funny that you mentioned your songs today. I watched this episode throughout my day today with several breaks and your normal intro song was stuck in my head all day, which I enjoyed. Speaking of lyrics, I thought I’d mention that I sing along to your song with my own lyrics… 🎶It is a Sarah, It is a Sarah, Sarah, funny Sarah, beautiful Sarah, It is a Sarah 🎶😊 I always love catching up with you! ~Amy
That’s so funny that you mentioned your background music as I was very struck by a beautiful song you chose a few days ago. It was “In a Thousand Ways” by Mike Parr with vocals by Frida Winsth. I hardly ever listen to music (except classical), but I was so taken by this one song you used that I had to go look it up! Thank you for broadening my horizons! 😉 28:46
I Love that scrappy cardigan more Every time I see it. And it was already a favourte and on my to knit list.
That cute little crocheted bag would make a good project bag. I would call the pink color “coral”.
Wooden frame Sarah???
❤
You do ALOT of work on these podcasts! I appreciate it, for sure, as I enjoy listening to you so much! I'm going to try to be a member...if I can do it right. I love everything you make! I love the black bag colors!! You inspire me to make things for myself, my children and grandchildren!! Love to you..❤
Hello Sarah from France ..just discovered your channel and love it ..your granny squares bag is very beautiful ❤
Sarah I have been meaning to tell you for a long time, that your intro guitar music is my favourite.
Thank you
Baie dankie en liefde van jou Afrikaanse vriendin.

Good night Sarah, I have got into the habit of watching your daily episodes in bed before I sleep. I find it quite relaxing but sometimes I do find myself thinking about a pattern! I am always amazed at how good your English is, especially as you don’t speak English any other time. I have read that learning a language helps your brain to stay young so maybe I should learn Dutch and I could practise by watching your other episodes! I hope you sleep well.❤
Love your crochet bag 🥰👏👏
