I realllllly cried a lot when japanesse trainees got a culture shock. Like it was painful to watch their reaction especially when sukura planned a revenge of what happened. Japanese perform to make people laugh, they really dont mind how synchronize or perfect their choreography and thats what cause my heart fluttered.

In Korea it's to look good on stage (means to sing and dance perfect) also most of the japanese trainees don't have that much vocal and dance training while in korea you (normally) train 1-8 years

I missed Produce 48... TT_TT I think Kpop is really competitive but at the end of the day, what makes it more human and appealing would be Jpop since they are more approachable, fun and even not synchronize would make you feel closer to them as not everybody is perfect in singing and dancing. Don't get me wrong but Kpop is really a standard and iconic but Jpop hits differently....
It's so sad cause Gaeun, Yiren, Miyu and Gyuri were supposed to be debuting (Gyuri is understandble because she was in Fromis_9 and MNET wouldn't let her debut again, but for the other 3 is really sad cause they deserved to be in there)
