I’m not even a fan but I cried when I saw iz*one saying their last goodbyes to their fans. I couldn’t have imagined training for years and going through a whole competition show just to disband in just less then 3 years. It’s just unfair and heartbreaking.

yup, three months was took away from us and the girls and many non fans bashed them and hated on them, but they still stayed strong. we really have been through a lot as a fandom as well as the girls themselves, obviously much more than us
@@hoshisaweirdone4676 My favourite band is Gfriend and they just left their company and I’m very worried about what they’re going to do next. During GFriend’s rookie years, they were made fun of because they’re clothes look “cheap” (the company barely had any money at that time) and were called Girl Generation wannabes. Gfriend is now one of the most popular groups in kpop. It hurts to see two strong, talented groups, Gfriend and Iz*one, disband. Love how supportive and positive you are.

actually, they knew they were going to disband. it’s kinda the whole point of the produce shows, they compete and then get to go into a group for about 2 or 3 years and then disband, just so they can get famous for a while. All produce groups disband eventually after a year or two, as said in the video the first few groups disbanded after one year and the groups after 2 years disbanded
IZ*ONE's history is the most dramatic, drastic, and tragic one. But we, WIZ*ONE have never regret to love the 12 Angels. The solidarity of IZ*ONE and WIZ*ONE is the strongest one. Nobody can break our bonds. IZ*ONE AND WIZ*ONE FOREVER!
Don't want to ruin your thunder... But I think Ladie's Code will always hold the title for most tragic girl group. At least I hope they do, because I don't wish what happened to them to ever happen to any other kpop group.
you should read about ladies code story, I'm not a fan of them but just listening to their story made me cry.

This is how subjective things are to these fans and hype up the group on everything. Some delusional fans will associate and link hyperbolic adjectives to the groups they stan as if they've known the whole industry of KPOP. Tragic? We have Ladies' Code. Dramatic? Ever heard of Nine Muses? Drastic? Like what does that even mean? Learn some proper vocabulary peeps. That's my two cents and I know you ain't ready for this Ted talk.
As a new kpop fan, I thought Iz*one's eyes were more serious during Fiesta era. I felt like they had something to prove, and they sure did. Even at the brink of disbandment, Iz*one came through. Farewell Iz*one, Wizone will definitely support the career of these 12 girls. THANK YOU IZ*ONE
the first win topping music show in fiesta era,Eunbi didn't feel free and hesitate to enjoying because of apology for other people who fell through because of manipulation.but next win,eunbi grined,hyewon smied looking at eunbi.such a adorable scene.

Anyone like me who cried when they saw Tomi crying at the airport. Everything about this group was special, when you see their managers crying and leaving heartfelt messages you know it was real

I'll never forget the feeling of relief when they called Chaeyeon's name. Pretty sure I cried. I was disappointed Chowon didn't make it, but I'd been rooting for Chae from the start.

Yeah if you ignore how corrupt the show was the produce series was actually pretty revolutionary. It changed the whole nature of survival shows within kpop, eventually spreading to japan and China. Also when you think about all of the exposure and opportunities that some of the contestants got.
Rigging or not, all members of the announced izone made the group iconic.

No one ever talks about the worse part of their disbandment: the sheer unexpectedness of it. Literally days before their concert, we were informed that they will disband, after weeks of positive talk on extending the contract. They didn't give us time for a proper farewell and all of us fans were caught off guard. It broke my heart the day it was announced, and after their concert, we would never see them together again. The biggest gripe I have with IZ*ONE's farewell was really just the fact that they didn't give us a proper farewell, and in the end we had to say goodbye virtually. These 12 girls have changed my life and I will forever be grateful.

their disbandment just didnt feel right, everyone had hopes abt their contract and disbanding without even getting to see your fans at your last concert must've have felt terrible
Their contract would have been extended easily but the produce scandal complicated things. I'm glad the members all still keep in touch with each other. Chaeyeon in an interview she did back in August, said that 10 out of the 12 members had a get together in private. Hitomi and Wonyoung weren't able to go due to their schedules but all 12 members still talk to each in the iz*one group chat.

The intro really felt like I was gonna watch something grand, something from the Hall of Fame. A group that really marked history moved all of us. This video really was a trip down the memory lane and I feel so nostalgic, living the moment again as I used to in this past 2.5 years. Thank you for making this, Asian Theory

"Memory Lane" "nostalgia" This literally happened in the last year, it's not your long lost childhood.
Despite everything...they never gave up because the fans never did. That 3 month hiatus was heart wrecking yet the support from the fans and the daily hashtag event never stopped because IZ*ONE was THAT impactful. They made millions of people smile and happy and they deserved way better.
Internationals fans still supported them but they did get backlash and shunned by knetizens.

By the end of la vi en rose my heart was melting
Once I got to Violeta my heart started to hurt
When I got to fiesta my eyes had tears in them
By the time SSOTS started some tears started falling
But once panorama hit I started crying

i'm a post-disbandment fan of iz*one and although i know i will never understand how much of a loss this was to wiz*ones who were with them at the time, this video still made me tear up. i'm so sad i didn't discover this amazing group until after their disbandment.

It's June now, and all the groups are coming back. And here I am, still longing for their music, their personality, and them in general. It's time to let it go, as Yena said, we have to wake up one way or another. IZ*ONE might be gone now, but they're never gone in our hearts, WIZ*ONE's hearts.
To be honest, Produce song every season always became a emotional song especially the piano ver 🤧
i hate that produce groups are so eye catching that i cant not stan them and end up crying when they disband. but iz*one hurt the most.
I became a WIZ*ONE after their disbandment (I didn't knew about kpop before). I wish I wasn't late. This makes me emotional. I want IZ*ONE back. I wish they were a permanent group. They're forever, my favorite.

For me, the ranking that made sense was minju and juri tbh. Juri only moved up a rank and minju moved up from 15 to 11 which is very possible. But most shocking was def kaeun, chae yeon and every other japanese members

They were really special. Recommend watching Produce 48. When Yena was a little girl she had cancer. Her doctors told her mother to take her home from the hospital and let her die. Her family sold food on the street to raise money for her medicine.

Watching their messages during ONE THE STORY in this clip felt like it the concert happened a few minutes ago. still as painful as it is during DDAY of the concert.
I cried for 3 days after the last concert.
A lot of fans that I know haven’t watched the concert again since it’s so heartbreaking. I usually rewatch concerts too but gosh OTS is a painful and traumatizing one.

The intro really hits hard. It's just the first few seconds but I'm already crying. It's just that knowing how much they went through and watching them grow and them making sure that wiz*ones know that they love them so much.

I'm gonna miss these talented Queen's so much! They achieved so much with the little time they had and created their own image and visual within the K-pop industry with their own special magic they possess . They will strongly be missed by LOTS of fans and I hope in the future we'll get to see them share a stage together or have a special comeback in the future .

I'll never forget the day i became a wiz*one in 2018. Although some of them are still in the industry as soloists or members of other groups, I'll always remember them as iz*one. Thank you girls.

I stanned IZ*ONE too late (late 2021) and I regretted it. IVE already was announced to debut that time when I stanned IZ*ONE too. I'm unexpectedly crying in front of my laptop even tho I didn't get the time to know all these precious angels in the K-pop industry. 11 of them redebuted, while Chaeyeon is still there waiting to be redebuted. As a late WIZ*ONE, I hope they do a reunion someday, just like what I.O.I. did. But as for now, I will support IVE, LE SSERAFIM, Eunbi, Nako, Yena, and the others with their career. I will always support these precious angels. Even tho I stanned them late, they will always be in our hearts. WIZ*ONEs, let's manifest an IZ*ONE reunion maybe this year or next year! I want to see those 12 pretty and precious girls complete again. I'm trying to hold my tears, but it just bursted outta nowhere. IZ*ONE members, fighting! It might be impossible but see you soon! WIZ*ONEs love you soooooooo much.

the last but most successful produce group. birthed ive and le sserafim aka one of the most successful rookie girl groups, 4 soloists with thriving careers and great music, boosted hiinako in their respective 48g groups (which made them centers).

Imagine a group where fourth generation It Girl Wonyoung, gorgeous Eunbi and cutie Yuri aren't considered pretty enough to be part of the visual line.
Imagine a group where a superstar like Minju, MBC's daughter, wasnt even the first center or the second center.
Imagine a group where dance queens Yena, Chaewon and Yujin aren't considered good enough to be main dancers.
5 former members of Izone have now charted in the top 10 of Melon and 2 others have sold 60-90k albums each comeback.

I always thought "you know what, i'll just stan them later, they'll still be around", and took them for granted. i mean i never knew they were just under 2 1/2 year contracts, but knowing that now just makes me so sad. izone forever! wishing the best for you all in your new journeys!

I'm crying even I'm rewatching this video till the last second. I'm glad most of the members are interacting publicly on IG.
This had me crying two times and it’s not even 10am yet… Especially when that X1 intro hit. It makes you think about how big both X1 and Iz*One could’ve been if they had been given just a bit more time. But it’s also interesting to see how they’re all doing now. The Kpop industry moves on fast, so despite Iz*One disbanding feeling like something that doesn’t feel right, it makes you realise how much you should value time since time is the most precious thing we, as humans, have.

Honestly, this video was just so well made. I had just gotten into kpop when Iz*one’s contract was coming to an end, but I can only imagine how the people who had been wiz*ones since the beginning had felt when Iz*one disbanded. Even though they aren’t active anymore, I’m glad they have been able to redebut in other groups, as soloists, and actresses. They really could’ve gone far as a permanent group

This still gets me so hard as much as I love the many successful groups/soloists and banger songs from their new grps,being w izone from the very start was always a treasure watching them grow as their dynamics and frdship was out of this world.
I’m not even a wiz*one but I burst out crying when I hear them saying goodbye, seriously that was too short for a legendary group like them.
