- Dima Hasao, located in the northeastern state of Assam, is a truly a hidden gem in North East. The district is home to lush green hills, picturesque waterfalls, and rich cultural heritage. Some of the must-visit tourist places in Dima Hasao include Manage - the capital of the erstwhile Dimasa Kingdom, and home to the famous Stone House. The district capital Haflong is often called the 'Switzerland of the East'. The city offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Nearby Jatinga is a small village located in the district that is known for its unique phenomenon of bird suicide. During certain months of the year, birds fly into the village and commit suicide by crashing into buildings or trees. We'll uncover the mystery of Jatinga today as well. We'll also visit Bendao Baglai waterfalls, and finally trek on top of Seilkal Peak. This trek offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys and is a must-try for adventure enthusiasts.

Dima Hasao is a perfect destination for those looking to explore the unexplored. Its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and unique attractions make it a must-visit destination in the northeast. It's easily reachable by train from Guwahati (this is what I did as well), but you can also take a bus or a taxi to get here.
Hope you enjoyed this video :)

Wow Brother the way u depicted the beauty of Dima Hasao is just so amazing and I really like the way you say things in Dimasa accent..those legends wow .....love from Dima Hasao 🤍❤️
Thank you so much Asomika! I was lucky to explore Dima Hasao with some amazing friends from Haflong and that certainly helped 🤗
The main reason behind people yet to discover these hidden gems is that they ain't aware of it, Assam tourism barely promote certain places due to lack of infrastructure, their main focus is Kaziranga, and Sivsagar, and creator like you fear to come due to the sensitive status we got, but these are hidden Gem and there are many such which are yet to be discovered & promoted. Special thank you for covering it up with beautiful story telling, I bet lots of people of Assam yet to know about

The pleasure was all mine! And thank you once again for showing your home so beautifully 🤗🤗
the story you said about the stone is house exactly the same as the story of kamakhya temple!!!!!!!!.....I read that Narakasaura who was the srtongest ruler of kamrupa wanted to amrry maa kamakhya. maa kamakhya agreed only in one condition that he will built a temple of her, a water tank and stairs for devotees, all in just one night. He was almost complete but then maa kamakhya made a rooster to shout(you get it) before dawn which narakasura thought that he lost. But alter when he found the truth, he slayed the rooorster and from that incident the place name was 'Kukura Kata'......I don't know waht is the real story but this is what i read in book called 'A glimpse of Assam' by PN Dutta
I am from assam but unluckily i ve not visited dima hasao yet.. After watching your video, i am gonna visit the place soon.. Good job 👍 Do visit us again . Love from dibrugarh, Assam❤

Nice bro 💗 , me tribal boy from assam live at assam+Arunachal border area , living near west kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh which is only about 3km far away from my house popular tourist places like sela pass is 250 km from my house and famous places like mandala top ,sangti valley ,bomdila ,shergaon are even nearer ,so i prefer Arunachal west kameng district and tawang district always. ❤ Haflong is beautiful no doubt but i think west kameng and Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh is no less than Switzerland with high elevated snowy mountains lakes meadows just so beautiful ❤❤
That’s lovely! I’ve been to Tawang - a long time ago though - and agree that’s it’s truly heaven on earth! I have to visit again to make a vlog there too 🙌
@@SiddharthaJoshiFilms yeah bro ,it's now even easier to travel to Tawang because road is very good and soon sela tunnel will be ready which will cut down travel time to Tawang by at least one hour . 💓
@@peacegamer3779 That's great! Sela pass back then was beautiful but also looked risky (I travelled in late December)...
Very interesting.
Thank you!
