Calling it now! He developed a second personality (the amnesia is what makes me think this) and doesn't realize it yet. Bonus points if the personality in question is actually just what he remembers of 'Mr. Franklin'. Also, really gotta wonder what happened to Franklin's daughter, Lydia. Far as I'm aware, in the 'escape' ending, she didn't die, but like, what would the authorities even do with her? Reconstructive surgery? Is that even possible? She's probably gonna be in a psych ward for the rest of her life, and that's IF they can undo the damage Franklin's 'surgery' did to her face... Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if a cop found her while they were investigating the abandoned school and accidentally ended up shooting her because she tried to attack him. Only to then realize that THAT THING was a little kid...
7:14 As soon as I saw the Hello There sign above the bed I was reminded of Batman Returns when Catwoman has a similar sign in her apartment and smashes out the O and the T. 😀 12:18 Hello There!
I still have questions like why David only clings to his mother? Was it that their father didn't care or they ran away? If David became the next 'Franklin' , what about his daughter Lydia? Was she presumed dead? If not, then did she remain in that place or escaped? Also, what were those tablets with severe side effects for when it worsened David's mental health even more?? The sad part I would rather say is that David should had been accompanied by a better person, as therapy didn't work for him either. In the end, his insecurities made him no different from the murderer guy like Stockholm Syndrome born from PTSD. And maybe I was expecting something more, after all he held on for 15 years but did he kill his mother or not cuz the notes were quite confusing. (Just something which Idk if it was already answered in the playthrough or unknown if they are left open to ponder about🤔)
For the pills it seemed to all be a sabotage by the daughter of Theodore Lopez (the clown from the first game), she was most likely Theo and Franklins source for getting the drugs and hallucinogens shown in the first game, she might have even been responsible for making those two into monsters. No idea about the rest.
@ungodly Thank you, the number of names in those notes were confusing me even though I went through them twice. Sorry for the trouble, it's just I loved Part I and expected to clear doubts in Part II only to have more questions. 😭 Now I'm wondering if those people from his delusions were even real (except for Jamie ofc)
They did not do a good job with making the plot clear in this game. Also, on the way to getting the “true” ending in the first game, David’s parent have their heads chopped off and mannequins are holding them about 3/4 through the game making this all very confusing
