Charlotte you're the reason I started watching IO - I absolutely love the energy and comedy you bring. It has made me smile on so many occasions and I can't tell you how grateful I am for you. You might disappoint some people for leaving IO, but not me. AND most importantly, not you - you have to look after yourself. Stepping back and seeing that something had to give, is a perspective a lot of people don't have until it's too late. Sometimes we have to take that step to ensure we don't lose the plot completely. I thought IO had neat topics, but it was Charlotte that got me hooked. I'm going to keep watching them, but Charlotte will forever be my Potato Queen, and we shall be her French Fries.

I'm old and one of the most important things I've learned in life is to not regret your decisions, even if they turn out wrong. Learn from them and never be ashamed of them and if they were bad choices just never do them again The only way to be happy in life is to embrace all of you, the good and the not so good
unless those things happen to be against the law or harmful to others. Other than that I agree 100% and need to do this myself. If u do have regrets, let them go. Dwelling on them won't change anything. Just focus on what u can do moving forward. ;)
I just needed to hear this!!! I left my job in reputed biopharma as I wanted to take a break after maternity!!! Now coz of pandemic I literally unable to find a job and stuck in this vicious situation n was feeling bad that my decision was bad!!! I needed someone to tell me what exactly u said!!! Thank you

I have the money to start nail tech school, I even found a school that is 10 minutes away from my house, but I have yet to take that leap. I started watching IO when the pandemic started. I remember the video where you mentioned that you sometimes don't agree with the content you're doing at IO, but know it will sell. I'm guessing this is one of those reasons. You helped me a lot through adjusting to the new normal, and know that from literally across the globe, someone is very grateful and very happy to become, and always will be, your potato. I wholeheartedly understand... at this point in my life, I'm doing things I couldn't do before because I had small children, things that I've wanted to do for years. I don't want regrets... I'd rather try something and fail instead of not doing it all and living with the 'I wonder if...' feeling. I know that sometimes, when you're single with no kids, people think you don't have a right to be exhausted and that you have all the time in the world. Its annoying. You will be missed on IO but please do the all things that make you happy... we're happy when Charlotte is happy. Take care of yourself, and you can still be the Potato Queen on your channel ❤

I'm starting to have a lot of extra time that I didn't before so I'm kinda lost... cuz I'm used to having to dedicate that time to my kids. Its weird. So since they don't need me as much, I'm going back to school. I've wanted to be a nurse since I was young, so I think its time to make it happen. My husband is thrilled, he's wanted to see me do something for myself for a long time. Hang in there mama, and believe me when I tell you a LOT of women go through the same feelings

But my husband pointed out that a lot of people often switch careers in their 30s and 40s. And I think we have an advantage as far as age goes because life has taught us what we want and what we don't and we tend to be more solid as far as our identities. Imma hype you up lol... When you have kids, it really puts into perspective how much stress you caused your own parents. I swear I call mine at least once a month to apologize lol I fully understand why people choose to not have kids, its not for everyone and thats ok. I'm not of the mindset that women HAVE to best children just because its what's expected of them. I spent all of my 20s being a mom... my kids are teens so I'm really enjoying not having to worry about babysitters and feedings anymore... when they graduate high school I'm REALLY gonna be wildin out lol

Never ceases to amaze me at how huge/random TH-cam is. I discovered Charlotte's channel a month ago and I've never even heard of Information Overload although I've been using TH-cam for 7 years.
Same for me. I guess TH-cam through her into the anti-MLM algorithm for like a second but I found her then went on with her bridezilla videos (my favorites!!!) and she’s just so damn funny.
As someone who has had a hard time with my mental health with everything going on in the world, my son doing remote school, and my job busier and more demanding than it’s ever been, I really felt your words! Our mental health always needs to come first and I think you’re an amazing person with so much good in your future. I found your channel recently and am so happy I did. Couldn't agree more - mental health is so important, and must come first. I think Charlotte has just done an enormously brave and inspiring thing by saying she has had anxiety and has now changed her life so that she can continue doing what she loves, even though she had to give something up. I just hope you are listening to your own words J H - look after yourself and keep finding those things that make you laugh - it's one way to help getting out of feeling overwhelmed and anxious. I've got anxiety and clinical depression (have had for more than 25 years) and it took a while before I learnt what works for me. You keep being what sounds like your awesome self, and take care of you. x

When I started watching IO videos, I connected to you in a very special way. A couple of weeks later, I found this channel and I automatically subscribed. Even though IO has great editors and hosts, none of them are like you. They don’t have your charisma, your natural charm and sass. It will hard to watch IO videos without you there. Right! I found her a little annoying at first too, but found her pretty and had a wonderful personality. She became my favorite host on io, she deserves to be happy.
So, I began watching you a week ago simply because the captions were hilarious. now I can't get enough of you. You are completely relatable, and utterly comfortable with yourself. I even surmised that you would be so much fun to be around, because you're quick with comebacks both humorously and intellectually. I have never heard of IO, but when I detected a slight accent I vaguely placed Cnada. I was raised in Alaska for most of my life and felt a secret camaraderie. I never post on the internet and rarely communicate with anyone let alone celebrities. But you're totally worth it. You make me laugh, and your reactions make me feel like my Red headed step sister (not joking) is still here, just making me smile by being her natural self. Most recently watched the "Owned by Science" reactions, and learned so much.

I know the feeling when you’re burnt out it happened to me a few years ago - I wasn’t sleeping, eating properly, very emotional and it was when I had a dream that I killed myself I knew something had to be done so I quit my job and took three months off (first 3 night I slept for 10 hours each night) got myself back to my normal started another job I started to burn out again but this time I quit before it got worse, again took time off. Dropped down to 3 days a week and make sure that for 1 or 2 days I take time for myself and rest - have never felt better 🙂🙂 Do what’s best for you to keep you happy and healthy 😊
I was watching a recent video of you and thought I'd go back and find this one. I found you on IO and the potatoes always had me lauhging. I followed you over to your channel. Anyway I come back to watch this one and it hits hard. I am leaving my job of 20 years. I'm scared but excited. I feel right now, how you felt then and I see how much you have thrived making your own choices. I mean as much as we can see from this side of the screen. Burn out is real and horrible. I've been there for so long and feel so stuck. Since I've been working there I take an anti anxiety drug and two anti depresents. I hope that this change will be great for my mental health! I think it will be. I watch you every day, you always make me laugh and remind me it's okay to be weird and be myself. I wish all the best for you. I hope to see you in a big screen or in the comfort of my home watching something you can add your talent too! I felt like some of your last videos on IO you appeared agitated! To be fair I went though something like this with a job I gave 5 years too. I left, felt better and then corona hit. I’m happy I have a supportive family, but I’m not giving up and I know I can pick myself back up and feel great again doing something I enjoy! Ha Sept 18 is my mom’s bday! Happy things are happening.

Im not even sure how I stumbled upon IO (probably something my daughter showed me) but I was hooked from the start. When I saw that you had your own channel, I was overjoyed. I'm probably not the demographic that this channel is aiming for but I love it all the same. One of my favourite parts of watching is that you seen to love your job and it instantly lifts my spirit. I dont want to sound like a parent but I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you striking out on your own. It must be terrifying but you seem like a strong woman and I just have this feeling that you're going to be surprised at how many fans will turn up. Gurl preach!! It’s so crazy because I’m going through the exact same thing!! You put all your plans and dreams on hold to work for someone else. Meanwhile, the company you’re working for is prospering, partly because of you, but yet you’re not totally fulfilled because you’re not living YOUR dreams. You’re fulfilling someone else’s dreams. That’s not cool. Then you look around and everyone else is biting the bullet and pursuing their dreams and you’re like wait.......why am I putting my dreams on hold??!! Nope that’s enough of that!! I completely get you because a lot of what you’re saying resonates with me and why I decided to leave the military. I’m in school now for business and since I released back in July there’s like this big weight has been lifted off of me and my mental health is so much better. I was burning out as well, for us in the military the pandemic made the stress of it all worst because for me in particularly I was put in 48 hours notice to deploy while working shiftwork to make masks for not only my work environment for everybody else that was in the RCN; and at some point like you said something really had to give. So I chose to retire early, took all of my benefits, my packages, and I’m gonna make a new life for myself; one that I control and love.
Forget that "letting people down" nonsense. You are moving to a new opportunity for yourself and your fans/followers. Nobody can fault you for that...and it's an exciting new chapter in your life!
While I’m saddened that I won’t see your beautiful self in several videos a day, I am 100% certain that you are making the right decision! You were great in IO but it's great that you took care of yourself first. I hate social media, but I always pop into youtube to see what's new in your feed, it's a picker-upper if I may say. Charlotte you're the reason I started watching IO - I absolutely love the energy and comedy you bring. It has made me smile on so many occasions and I can't tell you how grateful I am for you. You might disappoint some people for leaving IO, but not me. AND most importantly, not you - you have to look after yourself. Stepping back and seeing that something had to give, is a perspective a lot of people don't have until it's too late. Sometimes we have to take that step to ensure we don't lose the plot completely. Well done to you and I can't wait to see more from you here

I have the money to start nail tech school, I even found a school that is 10 minutes away from my house, but I have yet to take that leap. I started watching IO when the pandemic started. I remember the video where you mentioned that you sometimes don't agree with the content you're doing at IO, but know it will sell. I'm guessing this is one of those reasons. You helped me a lot through adjusting to the new normal, and know that from literally across the globe, someone is very grateful and very happy to become, and always will be, your potato. I wholeheartedly understand... at this point in my life, I'm doing things I couldn't do before because I had small children, things that I've wanted to do for years.
I don't want regrets... I'd rather try something and fail instead of not doing it all and living with the 'I wonder if...' feeling.
I know that sometimes, when you're single with no kids, people think you don't have a right to be exhausted and that you have all the time in the world. Its annoying.
You will be missed on IO but please do the all things that make you happy... we're happy when Charlotte is happy. Take care of yourself, and you can still be the Potato Queen on your channel ❤

Its weird. So since they don't need me as much, I'm going back to school. I've wanted to be a nurse since I was young, so I think its time to make it happen. My husband is thrilled, he's wanted to see me do something for myself for a long time.

But my husband pointed out that a lot of people often switch careers in their 30s and 40s. And I think we have an advantage as far as age goes because life has taught us what we want and what we don't and we tend to be more solid as far as our identities.
Imma hype you up lol... I'm coming back to this comment in a year and hopefully both of us will be on the path to carving out something that we enjoy, personal or professional 😁

Couldn't agree more - mental health is so important, and must come first. I think Charlotte has just done an enormously brave and inspiring thing by saying she has had anxiety and has now changed her life so that she can continue doing what she loves, even though she had to give something up. I just hope you are listening to your own words J H - look after yourself and keep finding those things that make you laugh - it's one way to help getting out of feeling overwhelmed and anxious. I've got anxiety and clinical depression (have had for more than 25 years) and it took a while before I learnt what works for me. You keep being what sounds like your awesome self, and take care of you. x

When I started watching IO videos, I connected to you in a very special way. A couple of weeks later, I found this channel and I automatically subscribed. Even though IO has great editors and hosts, none of them are like you. They don’t have your charisma, your natural charm and sass. It will hard to watch IO videos without you there. Also I'm in recovery from an ED and drug addiction with 6.9 years clean. So thank you for opening up to us like this it means alot. So, I began watching you a week ago simply because the captions were hilarious. now I can't get enough of you. You are completely relatable, and utterly comfortable with yourself. I even surmised that you would be so much fun to be around, because you're quick with comebacks both humorously and intellectually. I have never heard of IO, but when I detected a slight accent I vaguely placed Cnada. I was raised in Alaska for most of my life and felt a secret camaraderie.
I never post on the internet and rarely communicate with anyone let alone celebrities. But you're totally worth it. You make me laugh, and your reactions make me feel like my Red headed step sister (not joking) is still here, just making me smile by being her natural self. Most recently watched the "Owned by Science" reactions, and learned so much.

I know the feeling when you’re burnt out it happened to me a few years ago - I wasn’t sleeping, eating properly, very emotional and it was when I had a dream that I killed myself I knew something had to be done so I quit my job and took three months off (first 3 night I slept for 10 hours each night) got myself back to my normal started another job I started to burn out again but this time I quit before it got worse, again took time off. Dropped down to 3 days a week and make sure that for 1 or 2 days I take time for myself and rest - have never felt better 🙂🙂

I was watching a recent video of you and thought I'd go back and find this one. I found you on IO and the potatoes always had me lauhging. I followed you over to your channel. Anyway I come back to watch this one and it hits hard. I am leaving my job of 20 years. I'm scared but excited. I feel right now, how you felt then and I see how much you have thrived making your own choices. I mean as much as we can see from this side of the screen. Burn out is real and horrible. I've been there for so long and feel so stuck. Since I've been working there I take an anti anxiety drug and two anti depresents. I hope that this change will be great for my mental health! I think it will be. I watch you every day, you always make me laugh and remind me it's okay to be weird and be myself. I wish all the best for you. Thanks for making content for us and being yourself.
I hope to see you in a big screen or in the comfort of my home watching something you can add your talent too! I felt like some of your last videos on IO you appeared agitated! To be fair I went though something like this with a job I gave 5 years too. I left, felt better and then corona hit. I’m happy I have a supportive family, but I’m not giving up and I know I can pick myself back up and feel great again doing something I enjoy!

I’ve just watched the first four minutes and 34 seconds of this video and this is where I’m going to leave my comment the saddest part of this video was when you Charlotte told us that you didn’t want to show us how your mental illness was affecting you while filming on I O, We love you as a person Charlotte and we don’t want your mental health Deteriorating just to give us a barrel of laughs you need to work on yourself and this channel your own channel was actually doing really well I’ve been following you now for about eight months and I pretty much enjoy about 90% of your content some of its a bit girly which is fair enough but I enjoy most of it and I love watching you present your program with the enthusiasm that you have your face really does light up my TH-cam 🙂😁 keep going girl we love you

Im not even sure how I stumbled upon IO (probably something my daughter showed me) but I was hooked from the start. When I saw that you had your own channel, I was overjoyed. I'm probably not the demographic that this channel is aiming for but I love it all the same. One of my favourite parts of watching is that you seen to love your job and it instantly lifts my spirit. I dont want to sound like a parent but I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you striking out on your own. It must be terrifying but you seem like a strong woman and I just have this feeling that you're going to be surprised at how many fans will turn up. I look forward to seeing you every day and I cant thank you enough for making me laugh so hard that I once shot coffee out of my nose (yes you are that funny) Keep it up!

Gurl preach!! It’s so crazy because I’m going through the exact same thing!! You put all your plans and dreams on hold to work for someone else. Meanwhile, the company you’re working for is prospering, partly because of you, but yet you’re not totally fulfilled because you’re not living YOUR dreams. You’re fulfilling someone else’s dreams. That’s not cool.
Then you look around and everyone else is biting the bullet and pursuing their dreams and you’re like wait.......why am I putting my dreams on hold??!! Nope that’s enough of that!!
You push yourself for someone else’s success. Imagine if you put forth that same effort for yourself!!! Success!!

I felt like this has been a long time coming.
I completely get you because a lot of what you’re saying resonates with me and why I decided to leave the military. I’m in school now for business and since I released back in July there’s like this big weight has been lifted off of me and my mental health is so much better. I was burning out as well, for us in the military the pandemic made the stress of it all worst because for me in particularly I was put in 48 hours notice to deploy while working shiftwork to make masks for not only my work environment for everybody else that was in the RCN; and at some point like you said something really had to give. So I chose to retire early, took all of my benefits, my packages, and I’m gonna make a new life for myself; one that I control and love.
When you said that you're done putting your dreams on hold, I felt that. Godspeed to you Charlotte!

You did the right thing! I was a teacher and I recently left it for similar reasons as what you mentioned! Life is short. You need to put urself first. This pandemic had been a good thing to put life into perspective! Keep your head held high and keep doing you ❤️

I have been looking for the explanation of why you were no longer in the other channel and all of a sudden you are in this one. Now, this video pops up in my feed finally and now I know. You were great in IO but it's great that you took care of yourself first. I hate social media, but I always pop into youtube to see what's new in your feed, it's a picker-upper if I may say. You have so much talent and you want to spread your wealth all over the place, but taking care of YOU and pacing yourself is VERY important. Keep up the great work!
