Woodturning - This Project Better Not Fail !!

In this woodturning video, I will turn one of the coolest egg where two wedding bands were casted inside the resin to hold a new marriage together forever. They are not the actual wedding bands do not worry… Used Australian mallee burl for the base covered with red and gold themed resin. Then the rings were glued onto some thin acrylic rods to create the impression of floating in the resin. Then carefully turned on my lathe into the desired shape then the long sanding could begin to achieve high gloss finish.

Awesome piece. I've been watching your videos for a while now and from one Wood Turner to another. I've only done a few Epoxy turnings, and I've always turned off the Tenon with my Wood turnings. Just wondering if it's safer to cut them off. I do like the use of a Recess whenever possible. Anyway happy turning my friend ☺️
