If you’re too scared to use a lighter to heat the lash curler using a hairdryer on its hottest setting for maybe 10-15 seconds is a great alternative! Always make sure to let it sit for probably 20 more seconds to cool off. Then test it with your fingers and if it isn’t too hot for your chin then it’s safe to curl lashes with. Always be careful though! And also after applying mascara I like to blow dry them with the cool setting on the same hair dryer. This hack is so good for my hard to curl, pretty straight lashes.
