  • Video covers stud length and spacer options. Trucks running 37x13.50 tires that rub radius arms. Studs are 2" long and wheel is 1" wide at stud flange.

Excellent work with the spacers. You saved yourself a lot of shop time.

Did the truck rub at all with just the 1” spacers?

Thanks for the great information, you're a great resource! Are you liking this truck more than the GMC Denali? I'm thinking of trading in my Ram limited 3500 HO this next year. The 2024 Denali Ultimate looks great. I'm debating Ford vs GMC. Thanks again

I have a few videos coming out soon on the differences.. I can’t really speak for the 24 Denali as im not sure what upgrades they will incorporate. The 23 I had had a few cons being the interior, exhaust brake was non existent and the seats were stiff. I have a 23 ford on order and to me it offers some of the best from all three. With that being said driving this 22 platinum seats are really soft and messaging seats are a plus. The backseat is larger and power is above all I have owned. If I had to pick a vehicle to tow my rv long distance out of them all it would be the Ford. Find a 22 ford to drive and a 23 GMC and I think you will know which vehicle feels superior even on a outgoing model. One feels like a 90k truck and the other does not. My next video will talk about values, pros and cons, and towing.

Very informative video on your setup, it is greatly appreciated. You mentioned you initially rubbed on your sway bar but upon removal of the drop down brackets you resolved the issue? Did you end up running longer end links to make up the difference the drop down bracket made?

I didn’t add links.. truck was great without them..

I learned many things in life, one of them being my F-350 platinum.. If I'm going to pay premium for a truck, I sure as hell will be buying the appropriate lift with the proper wheels instead of cutting corners to save a buck. The amount of stress that goes on that front wheel hub is insane, more if you tow regularly. I do use spacers on my sxs and past Jeep, but those vehicles don't work as hard as my truck. 13.5'' tire width will always be a problem on stock wheels.. tons of aftermarket options out there, I went with a 10' wheel so I can have the option down the road to run a 38''.

Did you ever figure out if you can get the studs out of the rear to go back to stock if need be?

I didn’t… I used 2” spacers on last truck so only had to cut tips. The limited is getting the 1” so I’m going to cut them.. I would think they would come out if you remove e brake pads..

What are you using to cut the studs cleanly?
