- After making beats for many years in FL Studio; I've made the decision to switch over to the MPC infrastructure and it's the best thing ever. This is just the beginning and I'm new to everything on this side!
You have be spontaneous with making music sometimes and I love just picking a tempo and a key signature and seeing where it takes you.

I got both, I love both. Sticking to both. Welcome to the family. MPCers know what's up.
U already know! Yea both is a must. Thanx for checkin it out homie! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Nothing can take the place of FL Studio in my opinion. It keeps adding things that are incredible! The piano roll is still untouchable! I may still add the 37 key in the future but FL is to easy, theory friendly, and extremely quick for putting together songs! Keep up the good work!
Yea FL is going crazy and ur right. If they would just fully merge; I’d be in heaven lol. Theory friendly is the perfect way to put it! Thanks for the input!
The MPCLive2 is a portable studio
@@DaGranFather401 Facts bro! If you have a mic; you can literally make an entire song start to finish lol. It has all the soft clippers.. limiters.. compressors.. eq.. tracking.. the whole 9
@@DaGranFather401so is a laptop with FL Studio on it 🤷🏾♂️
Bro you can't get no more theory friendly than the newer mpcs...now if you came from the error I started in ..mpc 3000s I'd agree with your point but bruh mpc makes music theory easy a kindergartener could get jiggy trust me #key61forthewin
That beat actually came out legit. I don't normally do much in Major so that was very interesting to me. I have been making beats in Studio One for several years and recently decided to get back into FL. I am enjoying all the updates with FL right now but I have been thinking of getting an MPC Live as well. This made me want to get an MPC even more. Killer beat bro. I was vibin.
Thanx bro.. and yea I started on FL and was in Cuba’s for many years and they have a feature that nobody talks about in relation to layering which is so cool cause u have different parts within the same instrument but never the less this MPC gets me to actually finish my beats out and I don’t have to click around so much.. it’s amazing bro. I love it. I’m not even a real keyboard kinda guy and the way it’s lit up and u can simplify the beats it’s so clutch. I just love the workflow.. like u can just load everything up and mute different parts.. and just wav it all out and just edit ur favorite daw and do whatever and call it a day.. thanx so much for even checking it out and the feedback bro! 💯💯💯🙏🏾. Thank you!
keep it up! The MPC is really easy to get....and with you coming from FL you are gonna be even more of a BEAST at it!
Thanx a billion! Im going to definitely try! I think being so heavy in the piano roll in FL Studio makes me fly through the piano roll in MPC for sure!
Feels like a new Compton vibe, ynw im say👊🔥
You already know!! 💯🫡🦾
Keep it up my boy!!! You got something
💯💯💯 🙏🏾 New Beginnings!
Congrats🎉 Welcome to the family!!!
Thanx g!! Ain’t no way I’m startin a beat on FL no more
good for getting quick ideas down and having a good foundation. When it comes to audio clips, re-arranging, and mixing the daw is way quicker. Sure you can setup a template for a master reference and with all inserts ready but i still chose daw. that mpc is good when youre not by a computer of for traveling.
Facts!!! You hit a lot of good points right on the head!! Those three things you just mentioned are the exact reasons I still have to bounce out tracks and finish elsewhere. Great insight.
Love this❤
Thank you!! 🙏🏾
This was a vibe
Thanx I appreciate it bro. Trying to get it in
Would like to see a video of you making the beat on the MPC and mixing (and mastering) it on FL Studio.
The beat almost sounds likes When In Rome - The Promise
Bet say less! Sorry for the late response but it’s like pickerwheel.com and I set up an account and u can make the wheel be whatever u want g. Thanx for even stopping by brotha! Imma get down wit the mixing next and the whole process! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Me too 🤝
Can’t believe I’m this late to the party lol. Better now than never! 🦾
When that wheel threw the B major I was like oh boy 😅
Ya feel me!! I had to go with it lol
I came from FL and still use it but on the MPC it’s effortless to bang out a Neptune or a Timberland style beats
U ain’t neva lied bro.. u don’t gotta search for sounds all day. As long as ur packs right and u know where u goin it’s crazy fast 💯💯💯

Fire beat
I appreciate it bro! Thanx for checkin out the vid!
Smart Man ...BleSSings
Thank you.. you too! I’m thinking some type of hybrid scenario is gotta be best for me.
@@NorthsideTrappin Exactly
I made the switch too 👍🔥
The speed is what gets me. I love it. It’s hard to leave FL Studio alone though. I have some videos that are scheduled to drop about that. What do you think about the hybrid workflow doing both?
I respect everyone’s choice and it feels like a lot producers feel as though they need to start using MPC and stop using a DAW. But in my honest opinion changing from a DAW to an MPC is like trading in your car in exchange for a horse. I mean you’re gonna need a DAW to arrange and mix your music anyway
Yea ur right frfr.. in my latest video it’s more up to date as far as how im doing it now. I do straight beats in MPC for the speed and just wav it down to Fl Studio
@@NorthsideTrappin 🫡💯
A lot of people just want to get off the computer. Also some just want that organic hands on feel. A computer software daw is obviously the superior one...but there's so many options...the limitations help creativity.
but everyone eventually goes back, I went from hardware to software off and on for over 20 years and that's ok whatever keeps the creativity flowing.
@@ladron6161 heck yea u right bro!! It’s gonna always be something new to spark some new interests. I’m definitely loving this workflow though.. I can finally finish something lol
btw... share that wheel.
“More Percs”
Never enough percs! lol 💪🏾
It sounds like a different LL COOL J "I Need Love" Beat. " For the first time in my life ..... There I was ... And I have played with so many hearts...... Ain't saying no names ........" " I Need Love "
Wowwww! I would have never thought that. I actually went and watched that whole video too. Thanx for even checkin it out fam!
you will be back to fl studio. Or you will use both. MPC workflow is more enjoyable. But FL Studio is a monster for overall music production.
Dawgggg lol.. since then I’ve been on both. I can’t get away from FL.. way too powerful. The melodies and how u can flip em and render down.. u called it. 🦾🦾
@@NorthsideTrappin i started using fl studio back in 98. Everybody shamed me. Then i got a Mpc 2000xl. I loved it. But i returned to Fl studio. No groove like the mpc for drums. But theres no daw thats better than Fl studio.
Dude, why the shades inside the house 😮
lol gotta put these Versace glasses to use somehow bro. This was my first ever video… new TH-camr.. gotta come in the game different. So now if we see a bunch of people wit sunglasses on makin beats at the crib we know where they got it from lol.. thanks for the feedback and even checkin it out bro! 💯💯💪🏾💪🏾🫡

Thanx brooo!!! 🫡🫡💯💯
Bro get a job the game is rigged
You sound stupid and narrow minded.. I’m a musician and obviously we have different goals. Expand your thought processes.. oh and I work dummy
Pro tool better
Ayyeee gotta use what you like.. I don’t even think Pro Tools believes that though lol. Thanx for checking me out 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
@@NorthsideTrappin for importing your finished tracks. It will sound a lot better.
I think you can mix and master in pro tools also.
@@JesusSaves010 oh of course for sure!! Imma try it one of these days.. just need to set me up a template for sure
